The Mast Farm Inn did not fail to disappoint us in every imaginable way. This bad experience began the moment we stepped out of our car and onto the front porch. Bird Poop. Everywhere. Had to walk through it to enter the Inn. Yuck.(pressure cleaner anyone?) Next, we were greeted by the smell of stale bacon grease. Unfortunately, this smell...

Where does the Website indicate that the "restaurant with organic vegetables & fabulous chef" is only on Friday and Saturday nights? Must be the smallest print EVER! Just so you know there are NO decent restaurants close by and NO dinner is served at the Mast Farm Inn Sunday through Thursday. BAIT AND SWITCH!!!!!! SUCH A DISAPPOINTMENT!!!! Please post BIG...

I was able to book the Blacksmith Shop which was INCREDIBLE, from the fireplace to sit next to to read, to the loft iron tub to soak in, to the awesome sheets on the bed for a great nights rest. And then there is the gourmet breakast. NOT your ordinary farm, inn, or hotel breakfast!! My senses enjoyed both mornings!!...

Simple, rustic, cozy and very comfortable. Food was outstanding and our room (Maple Springs) was huge. There was nothing I did not like about the Inn, the food, our room or our stay. Would definitely like to return.

From our first inquiries to checking out, Danielle, Lorraine and Jessie were helpful and accommodating in every way. They set us up and adjacent cabins so that we could easily work together on our retreat meetings. They were able to set us together at our meals in the dining room and cater to our specific needs. The wonderful meals exceeded...

We stayed in the farmhouse and found it clean and nicely decorated. I really appreciated the early coffee delivery and the coffee pot available all day. Each morning we had a delicious, unique and very filling breakfast to start the day. There are plenty of good restaurants in the immediate area, and of course in Blowing Rock, Boone and Banner...

Based on our experience two years ago, we drove out of our way to spend another night at the Mast Farm Inn. Just as before, we were not disappointed. We stayed in the Gazebo Cabin, a structure that looks a bit worn on the outside but is well maintained and comfortable inside. The cabin room is huge, well decorated and...

My wife and I visited here for our 35th wedding anniversary and we absolutely loved it! It's an old Inn but well kept and cozy. Very quiet place in a very quiet valley. If you're looking for peace and quiet in a place that pampers you from the moment you arrive...this is it! Danielle's breakfasts were gourmet, different, and always...

We were so excited to finally stat at the Mast Farm Inn. We had heard great things about the place and decided to celebrate our 20th Anniversary in Valle Crucis at the Inn. Before arriving we received an email from Lorraine, the Inn Keeper, asking if we had any special dietary needs, inquiring if we were interested in buying food...

While we have only been to the Inn once, we are likely to make this a regular retreat for us, so impressed were we with the hospitality of the family, the quaint cabin, the wonderful food (which they happily adapted to my gluten-free allergy), and the loveliness of the surrounding area. This trip, it was just the two of us,...
