Do you remember the great food and good times at grandmas house? Well, this trip was a perfect example of how we felt about the trip. Emily and I chose Mountain Side because we were going to be in the Boone area to visit local shops, grandfather mountain and we liked the rustic appearance and description of the bed and...

We spent four nights at Mountainside. We stayed in two of the four rooms in this 'Inn". Each was beautiful and comfortable; one even had a spa tub! By the time we left, we grew to know and love the owners, Debbie and Don (and their cute little dog, Scooter). The breakfasts were absolutely delicious, the fireplace in the evenings...

We spent one night here, and we enjoyed it immensely; would definitely return if the opportunity arises. Debbie is a wonderful cook and a charming hostess, there was nothing we needed that we didn't get. We had yummy homemade desserts in the evening and a fabulous breakfast in the AM. We loved relaxing on the deck with the other guests...

My husband and I stayed at Mountainside Lodge about two years ago and had such a great experience there that we returned to go Christmas tree picking. From the warm greeting and catching up when we arrived to the moment we walked out the door to leave, we felt so at home and familiar. You just can't get a better...

This was another delightful find on the Blue Ridge Parkway segment of our fall road trip. Finding ourselves with a day or two to explore the Blowing Rock - Boone area of North Caroline and wandering through Valle Crucis on the way to the original Mast General Store we happened on this B&B and, managing the steep driveway, stopped by....

The minute we arrived we were made to feel very welcome. The lodge and surroundings were perfect, so comfortable and idyllic. Supper treats and lavish breakfast with excellent company was most enjoyable! Debbie's southern charm and attention to detail made our stay the best ever in our touring vacation of the Blue Ridge Parkway. And who could forget Scooter so...

We had the best experience at Mountainside Lodge Bed and Breakfast. Everything was just wonderful...the hosts, the view, the room, the decor, and the breakfast! The house was extremely clean, including the bathroom. We enjoyed the evening desserts, and the delicious breakfast with homemade jams. The porch has plenty of rocking chairs, swings, etc. to enjoy. Debbie and Don have...

“We love the Deer Bear Moose Room, it is the only downstairs room so if you have a problem with stairs, go with this one. It has a huge walk-in closet and a big bathroom with double sinks. You won't be disappointed!”
