Just like earlier this year the food was good, however it could have been a little cleaner. At some of the Booth's there were flies in the window sills. I would check this out before ordering next time. It was the last day before closing the grill for the season, I guess they had let things go.

Been here several times. Mainly in the fall just to relax and fish off the pier. Reasonable price and ocean front room. Don't expect luxury but if you like the coast and like to fish this is the place for you.

The Jolly Roger was just what it depicted on the website. I enjoyed my stay and took advantage of the fishing pier. Not much in amenities, but I was totally happy! The office has the ice machine. No wifi. The grill is a small flat top kitchen behind the check in desk. Family atmosphere, nice snack/gift/fishing supplies area. Thanks!

We come here every year around spot season. Always get great rate except this year. Was told in July that my room for 4 adults would be $634 before tax. Came in last week and went to pay and first they were going to charge me $843. But I said no way I was told $634 by robin. She said...

The Jolly Roger is a old hotel but in a great location. Is oceanfront in quiet area with a couple restaurants in walking distance. Also not far from Surf City for other options. It was $140 a night for weekend. Not bad. The only downfall is it is old and fixtures and things need to be updated badly! Also there...

Just stayed over last weekend. Though my family loved the pier and beach our room was not very nice. Hotel needs a little updating but should keep its charm. We stayed in room 237 and the smell mildew was so strong it made me sick. We were not spending much time in room because we were visiting our son who...

A quiet, relaxing trip for us to enjoy. We had a double bed room and it was nice, but the second night we upgraded to the king. Exceptional! This room is a gem. A corner view out the 2 windows. A small balcony deck with seating to enjoy wave watching and fisherman on the pier. This place is definitely somewhere...

We had a Third floor end room and great view of ocean. Easy walking distance to everything. Owner very friendly and helpful, some staff not as friendly. Oceanfront for the price hard to beat. Clean and had a good bed. No Wifi. Lots of exercise on steps.

If you are a non-smoker, beware. Smoking is allowed on the ocean front balconies and can really ruin your trip. Although the surrounding area is wonderful, this one thing can wreak havoc on your outdoor enjoyment.

Very basic, but adequate. Awesome to be ocean front! Great access to the beach. The gals in the office were very personable and accommodating. We enjoyed outdoor dining for breakfast at the little cafe. We would certainly stay at the Jolly Rogers Inn again.
