We are not golfers and we never would have come across this place without a forced detour off of I-95 as a result of Hurricane Matthew. It was only one of a few hotels on the way with availability; we lucked out. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The lodge and restaurant were charmingly decorated. While we didn't take...

We were in Pinehurst for a National Tennis tournament and stayed with an former neighbor from Cleveland, Ohio where we still live. She recommended the "In the Rouge Lounge" at Pine Needles Resort. We had good service and a great meal, but my wife and I, in our 70s have been splitting main courses for years and tonight was no...

Very friendly Staff! Southern charm that I truly enjoyed. The room was great. It over looked the Golf Course on the second floor. Nice pool and lounge area. Game room was a plus. Would stay again. Glad I chose it over regular hotel chain. Nice golf course. Quiet area, the property is set back on its own. Bar with food,...

Pine Needles Resort and the small charming town of Southern Pines embodies the concept of Southern charm and hospitality. The rooms at Pine Needles are clean, staff goes out of their way to do anything for you. They are truly there to serve. Mid-pines and Pine Needles - sister courses are unique and challenging. The beautiful surroundings and immaculate conditions...

My wife and two young kids recently bunked up at the Lodge at Pine Needles. We stayed in a "loft" room in the Putter Lodge, which has two queen beds downstairs, and 2 twin beds upstairs in a loft (2 bathrooms as well). All overlooking the historic and beautiful Donald Ross gem of a course, Pine Needles. Kelly Miller; his...

Family-owned, rustic in makes you feel welcome from the minute you get there. Nice rooms, great food and a cool bar that looks out over the course. Golf course is incredible -- a U.S. Women's Open site. I've stayed/played there several times (I am an out-of-state member now) and have loved every visit.

Sunday brunch at Pine Needles is a decadent extravagance. Unlimited Mimosas and Bloody Marys, lobster and steamed oysters, caviar, steamed shrimp, full salad bar, custom omelettes, rich desserts vary with the season.

We played Pine Needles course today. This is a beautiful undulating hilly course well maintained. Very friendly staff. The Pub served great food very fast and friendly to meet our Tee off. We will gladly return.

My son and I did all three things here last week. We played both Mid Pines and Pine Needles and enjoyed both of them very much. They are two completely different courses. Mid Pines is a mini-Pinehurst #2 and Pine Needles reminds me of Pinehurst #4. However, you can probably stay and play for a week compared to a few...

Had a very nice lunch was business friend in a very enjoyable setting. The fireplace was a great touch on a cold day. Service was perfect and the Chicken/Bacon Club was more than a meal. This will be my new go to place for a business lunch.
