It's quite expensive for a farm stay. When we arrived for our "dream" weekend away it was 40 degrees, hard to predict as we booked more then a month before. Not much to do in York in such a weather. Feeding animals once/twice a day which takes about an hour all together. With 40 degrees outside we filled out kiddies...

I am sorry you had a disappointing time. Please be assured that had you asked for DVD's we would provide them. Most cottages have them, but sometimes they disappear. And yes, no one has a good time when it is hot, no matter where they are staying. In our defence about the pool though, you will notice that there is...

We spent 2 nights in Bali hai last week. The house was nice for 4 of us (can accommodate one more). The place was clean and cozy, with a fully operated kitchen, a spacious patio and children's playground nearby. The farm was so big (in our standard) and beautiful. We enjoyed the starry sky in the night and being woken...

We spent 4 nights in the Lodge accommodation which was perfect for 4 adults and 2 children. Spacious with very comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen and bbq area plus toasty warm heating. The spacious bathroom was ideal for cleaning the kids down after playing in the farm. Katherine and Merv were wonderful with the kids including them in all feeding...

We had a fabulous time at Lavendale. Great accommodation, very friendly hosts and guests, great hands on farm experience for the kids. It is only a short drive from Perth so if you are like us and can only go for a 2 night stay you are there on a Friday in time for feeding at 5:15!! I highly recommend...

We stayed two weekends ago in the Bali Hai house, for two days. Farmer Katherine and Merv really go out of their way to make sure their guests are well taken care of. It was an incredible abode - neat, tidy with a TV and working fireplace, clean sheets. In the kitchen, there were even containers of rice, packets of...

We love this farm. It is what we were looking for or more. Only the second day we already feel like home. The animals are friendly and the whole place gives us such warm and fuzzy feeling. Ralph the cat would do his mornin round into our cottage and our toddler loves him so much. The eggs and bread provided...

We are glad you enjoyed our farm. Yes, it is a problem about phone coverage. It is here, but you do have to hunt for it and it may not be from inside the cottages. We must be part of the 3% of this country which does not get good coverage. But we have a wonderful peaceful place which makes...

Lots of farm animals for kids to feed and pet. It would have been better if there's heater though as the fire place was out too early and villa was cold. Farmer Katherine gave us free freshly baked bread and eggs from the farm.

We are glad your family enjoyed their stay. Our solar powered cottages can get very cosy with the slow combustion fires, but they can be tricky if you are not used to them. We will readdress our instructions. We do have cottages with split air-conditioning for heating and cooling, so please let us know next time.

The owners, Katherine and Mervyn, transformed small (on australian standards) farm into a wonderful accommodation, best suited for very relaxed vacation and for families travelling with children. Every cottage on the property is individually and tastefully themed and is in a very good shape. Everything is kept in absolutely tidy conditions, all amenities are present and in a very good...

Awesome relaxing place. Though it was winter when we visited, couldn't help but feel the warm hospitality from farmer Katherine and Mervyn. Katherine patiently tried to help us with our transport even when it was past 2100. The dinner bbq packs that we ordered was super value for money. Thankfully I ordered for the 2 nights that we stayed there....

We stayed at Lavendale Farm for 2 nights towards the end of May. Family of 3 adults and 2 children. We booked the Bali Hai bungalow which was just right for our group size. The house was great. It was clean, well furnished, kitchen had all that we required to cook our meals and the BBQ and deck at beside...
