What a lovely old home beautifully appointed and made welcome by the hosts Sophia and her hubby. A Central Location from where to get a taxi if needed for a night out. We spent three days here and enjoyed relaxing on their front deck, looking at the beautiful roses in bloom and taking a break from all that wine tasting. Sophia gave us first hand info. on what wineries to visit and which excellent restaurants to visit. Her breakfasts were sensational and different each day with anything anyone wanted. Around the lovely dining table we met some really interesting travellers each morning. I would recommend their B & B to couples who enjoy an intimate atmosphere and historical home.

Barossa House provides a rare combination of ambiance and efficiency. The rooms are well appointed and surrounded by a beautiful rose garden and vineyards. Breakfast was excellent and the host/hostess welcoming and flexible. I recommend this as a preferred choice for both business and leisure.

The owners Sophia and Leo were great hosts helping out with points of interest. The room was clean and comfortable the breakfast beautifully cooked and presented. We sat on their veranda with a glass of wine and overlooked their beautiful garden which was full of blooming roses such a relaxed atmosphere. Thank you Sophia and Leo for making our stay so pleasurable.

We stayed here during our stay in the Barossa Valley. Neat, comfortable and affordable. Settled in the township of Angaston... it was close to all little boutique shops and wineries. Highly recommended.

A SMALL WELL RUN 4 ROOM HOUSE just outside Tanunda, overlooking the vine years and in the back a vine production building. Extremely well equipped and beautiful rooms, excellent bed and with crisp white bedsheets, a room fridge, large tv and everything else you need. Breakfast is very nice and includes eggs and bacon, fresh fruits, Greek yoghurt, breads , honey, marmelade and fresh juice. Parking just in front of the house, and you may buy your own bottle of wine from the owners Leo and Sophia! A must when enjoying the sunset from the terras! I would come back

Beautiful room in old house. Meet by a very warm welcome from sophia and her family. Great suggestions for dinner out. Room was great except steep narrow stairs to get to it. Room had netflix and a great large tv. Free strong wifi. Room was beautifully decorated and comfortable. Lovely soft king bed. Bathroom was small but functional. Breaky was made by our host and shared with other guests in the house. Very yummy and accomodated individual tastes and requirements. Overall a very enjoyable stay. Great location in centre of barossa. Would recommend and hope to stay again in the future. Thanks sophia and family. Photo is view from balcony off room.

Sophia and Leo made us feel welcome in their home. Breakfast was great , room was very warm and comfortable being winter. The clincher was arranging for Sophia to take us to a variety of her favourite vineyards with local knowledge of the winemakers and vineyards. Highly recommend and when we do venture back to the Barossa we will be staying here.

My husband and I have just spent 3 nights staying with Sofia and Leo in their beautiful home Barossa House. Sofia is so welcoming, you feel that you are old family friends straight away. The house is lovely and very well located just out of Tanunda so it very easy to tour around to the surrounding villages and vineyards. Our room was the garden room and is very comfortable. The bed is very comfortable with good quality linen. There is a mini fridge with fresh milk, tea and coffee making facility in the room. The heating works well. The complimentary wifi works very well. Sofia cooks you a gorgeous breakfast each morning and there is also cold cereals, fruit etc to choose from. The coffee is good too. We took advantage of Sofia’s recommendations for vineyards to visit and places

Sophia is such a wonderful, warm and welcoming host. Our room was at the front of the house with views over the front garden. The room was a good size. The bathroom is very small, but all we needed for a couple of nights (and didn't detract from our experience). Sophia cooks a lovely breakfast each morning and it was nice sitting around the communal dining table and getting to know the other guests over breakfast. Would happily stay again.

As mentioned in the other reviews, Sophia is a lovely warm hostess and an amazing cook. She manages to be helpful and informative while giving you privacy. We also enjoyed our lovely day out wine tasting with her, it was a well organised day and a mix of the well known and boutique wineries. The room was spacious and had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. We went out in Tanunda each night and it was easy to get a taxi back. Thoroughly recommend a stay here.
