My husband and I have stayed at the Barossa House several times. New owners have taken over the House and all I can say is that they have made some fantastic improvements and that they are awesome hosts. There are several rooms to choose from and we were lucky to receive an upgrade. We had a tasty freshly cooked breakfast in the dining room. Always clean, great location, quiet and a beautiful old home.

Beautiful old home with I believe 3 rooms available, The host Sofia was extremely accommodating. Room was beautiful with all the amenities we'd need. Sofia made a great home cooked breakfast for us in the morning made to order as well as any coffees you'd like and an assortment of cold breakfast options. even had all gluten free options for my gf. Gave us great recommendations for the area, would absolutely stay there again if we make it back!

Fantastic hosts in Sophia and Leo with their son, Peter, who helped make the visit memorable. Their recommendations were spot on, be it for wine tastings, dining and places of interests. Their breakfast is supplemented with a great cup of coffee. They took the time to solicit feedback and were very warm and friendly. I hope they continue to be the same going forward, and highly recommend a stay here, if you are in Barossa Valley.

Amazing guest accommodation adjacent to the house was our home for 3 nights. Super soft bed, great linen and towels. Sophia cooks up a storm at breakfast with lashing of everything you want, definitely sets you up for a day of wine tastings. On the late afternoon return open a bottle of wine head outside your amazing private room with chairs and tables for a wine or two. Sophia will recommend restaurants for dinner, wineries to visit and places to shop. She is a wealth of knowledge. Highly recommend and the hosts are incredible, will definitely return soon. Thank you.

We stayed at the Barossa House for 2 nights and our first thought was what a beautiful garden and home. We didn’t mind too much about the minimal interaction with the hosts, as it was not necessary and we had all we needed. It was a little room, but cosy. Very clean and well maintained. We had breakfast in the morning and expected it’d be help yourself, buffet style. But, nope, we got to meet lovely Sophia and she was in the kitchen, slaving away, make us each a delicious hot breakfast and cup of coffee. We got to meet the other guests in the house over breakfast as well who were all very nice and it was just overall a really cool experience. The little things like coming back into our room after a day out and having our bed made and room tidied up and more chocolate and

What a lovely old home beautifully appointed and made welcome by the hosts Sophia and her hubby. A Central Location from where to get a taxi if needed for a night out. We spent three days here and enjoyed relaxing on their front deck, looking at the beautiful roses in bloom and taking a break from all that wine tasting. Sophia gave us first hand info. on what wineries to visit and which excellent restaurants to visit. Her breakfasts were sensational and different each day with anything anyone wanted. Around the lovely dining table we met some really interesting travellers each morning. I would recommend their B & B to couples who enjoy an intimate atmosphere and historical home.

Barossa House provides a rare combination of ambiance and efficiency. The rooms are well appointed and surrounded by a beautiful rose garden and vineyards. Breakfast was excellent and the host/hostess welcoming and flexible. I recommend this as a preferred choice for both business and leisure.

The owners Sophia and Leo were great hosts helping out with points of interest. The room was clean and comfortable the breakfast beautifully cooked and presented. We sat on their veranda with a glass of wine and overlooked their beautiful garden which was full of blooming roses such a relaxed atmosphere. We stayed here during our stay in the Barossa Valley. Neat, comfortable and affordable. Settled in the township of Angaston... it was close to all little boutique shops and wineries. Highly recommended.

A SMALL WELL RUN 4 ROOM HOUSE just outside Tanunda, overlooking the vine years and in the back a vine production building. Extremely well equipped and beautiful rooms, excellent bed and with crisp white bedsheets, a room fridge, large tv and everything else you need. Breakfast is very nice and includes eggs and bacon, fresh fruits, Greek yoghurt, breads , honey, marmelade and fresh juice. Parking just in front of the house, and you may buy your own bottle of wine from the owners Leo and Sophia! A must when enjoying the sunset from the terras! I would come back
