From my first phone contact with Sophia from Barossa House I knew this would be more than a ‘Hotel’ stay. A great BNB with a cozy vibe. Sophia went the extra mile to make our stay comfortable (6 friends). Having the communal lounge area made for a fantastic getaway. Great breakfast and fantastic local knowledge. I usually miss the comfort of my own bed when I am away, but this was the most luxurious bed and pillows I have experienced in a long while.

A nice and quiet located B&B just 5 minutes outside Tanunda. The hosts are great and they service a good breakfast with daily specialties and juices. Inhouse diner is good and reasonable priced with a very good paring wine.

Sophia’s hospitality and the gorgeous house delivered a perfect retreat after a day out in the Barossa Valley. Beautiful B and B - a lovely glass on wine on arrival and fantastic breakfast. Highly recommend.

Older B&B however clean and functional room. Breakfast was included and delicious. A bit outside of town, you will need a car to get there. Check in a bit funny as the host was away, but we got a phone number that we called, and we got help with the key and got inside. Ac/heater stopped working the first night, and as host away from B&B we decided to put on a lot of clothes and stick it out, however it was cold during this August night. The problem was solved the next day very quickly by the helpful person we had a phone number for. I read guest book in our room and everybody was so happy about their stays mainly due to fantastic host. I felt a little disappointed as choosing a B&B is partly about meeting host and learning about the life in the country I am visiting. As the host

This was a comfortable stay at Barossa House. Unit was clean and had the needed applications. Bed was also great. It is a house outside the town so a car is recommended. Very quiet place. Staff was nice.

Our return visit to Sophia and Leo at Barossa House was very enjoyable. This time we brought another couple with us and we were warmly welcomed.Great Location in Tanunda, beautiful historical building. Rooms Recently updated. Lovely freshly cooked breakfasts, great banter with Leo, smiles and entertainment provided by son Peter. Sophia goes above and beyond to ensure her guests enjoy their stay not only in their BnB but also in the Barossa Valley. Already planning another holiday to lovely SA.

Excellent location, really central to everything and only a few minutes drive into Tanunda town. Beautiful grounds and views of vineyards, such a wonderful host in Sophia, overall a great place to stay. Sophia made the most amazing breakfast each morning and treated every guest like they were long lost friends. Our room was the Jacaranda Suite and it was well worth the extra $$. Big, private, nicely furnished, with a balcony to spend a lazy afternoon drinking wine on. We loved it and we don't often do BnBs.

My husband and I recently stayed for one night at the Barossa House. Sophia is an extremely gracious host who goes out of her way to make sure you are comfortable a feel at home. The house itself is charming, immaculately clean and has a beautiful garden surrounding it. Sophia makes the most amazing breakfast in the morning, just adding to the charm of the experience! Highly recommend

We stayed at this beautiful house for 3 nights while holidaying in the Barossa. Sophia is a very gracious host. Nothing is too much trouble for her and she cooks the most delicious breakfast for her guests. She is also very helpful with her knowledge of things to see and do. Leo her husband is friendly and great to have a chat with. Peter their young son was a whiz showing us how to use netflix. The house is surrounded by a beautiful garden. The room had a comfortable queen size bed and everything you could possibly need and spotlessly clean. I would certainly recommend Barossa House as a place to stay.
