Having visited the wonderful rose garden in full bloom in the late nineties.I had no hesitation at booking thru a marketing call knowing I would need accommodation to visit my daughter. Driving up the driveway to the 'resort' my wife and I started to get a funny feeling. While not expecting roses in bloom in April , none of the...

The room was very dated. However, the room had evidently recently been painted with very strong paint fumes as soon as you walked in. Average meal at the restaurant, definitely not worth the price point. Lovely scenery surrounding the site. Continental breakfast was okay.

Discount deals are sometimes offered by places desperate for business. This place was busy, with their Groupon deal set to expire, but we will never go back. Our room was spacious, with good beds, but very poorly maintained. Outside paint was peeling, inside paint was poor quality and original different colour showing through chipped thin overcoat. Smoke detector conduit was...

booked a "garden view" room with balcony but, was given a room with no balcony with a "shed view". Rooms very old and tired. Booked through a groupon deal and was told early checkin but, couldn't check in when we got there (it was a bit earlier than advised but, the motel was 3/4 empty so there were rooms available.)...

Just returned home from a very relaxing three days staying at Lyndoch Hill, my friend and myself found the staff very friendly, the room was fresh, welcoming and comfortable. The restaurant provided magnificent food for the cooked breakfast and the two dinners we had during our stay. The gardens were lovely and we had plenty of paths to walk and found...

The location is good, the rooms and bathrooms are a good size but the place is old, really old. The place reeks of short cuts and cost cutting. There are new AC units in the units but the old window rattlers have not been removed. There is no water pressure in the shower but worst of all, the toilet cistern...

Lyndoch Hill is located within an hour of Adelaide and at the entrance to the Barossa Valley. The rooms are comfortable, but dated. All rooms look out onto the extensive gardens that surround the accommodation and they surround a central swimming pool. The complex offers onsite breakfast and dining. One of the onsite features worth seeing is the Chateau Yaldara,...

I agree with previous reviews in Feb 2017 - the hotel accommodation and grounds are very disappointing. What was probably a beautiful garden filled with 30,000 roses is now simply filled with 30,000 weeds. The palms are dead. The pond is almost empty and filled with algae. Trees are dying. The rooms are not much better and appear to be...

The room was outdated and not clean, ranging from floor to ceiling. Bathroom was another disappointment: no shower curtain, not proper toilet paper, nowhere to put your toiletries ... basically, not money worth spending!!!

We stayed here recently for a few days, having bought a package through another company. From all the photos we'd seen we were expecting far more than what was delivered. The photos were obviously taken a long time ago! The drive to the complex made us nervous, the gardens looked neglected. As we approached reception it didn't improve. Checking in...
