Got a phone call at 4:45pm advising reception was closing at 5pm and I was over an hour away and wasn't opening until 8am, wasn't convenient for me. The room needs updating, no shower curtain, 3/4 couch, one towel but a beautiful garden

What a lovely way to spend three days and three nights! Apart from being a starting point to explore the beautiful Barossa Valley, we enjoyed our room with a lovely view at the back. In addition, the breakfasts and dinner at the restaurant were most enjoyable. Finally, the Reception Staff (Melissa, Tanya and Mandy) were most efficient and friendly.

Nice rooms with pleasant views front and back. Welcoming happy hour, great breakfasts and a free dinner in the fabulous restaurant. There is nothing not to like! We have been there several times and hope to go again soon.

It's a great starting point to explore the Barossa Valley ! It's better to stay on a 'mid-week special' and it's CHEAPER than hiring a 'cabin' at the local Caravan park ! The gardens are massive and well kept. The restaurant is a bit pricey, but hay, you're in the Barossa . There's plenty of great restaurants in the local... More

Restaurant was nice and a nice walk around the gardens here but I wouldn't stay here again. The rooms were filthy we had all bugs all in our bathroom, one of the lamps didn't work and sleeping in bed you wake up with all your legs itchy.

Took a special deal over the phone that will .NEVER happen again! Rooms need updating badly. The carpet is actually threadbare! Beds are very uncomfortable. Took some photos as I could not believe my eyes.

Bit like motel accommodation. Large room and bathroom, the bed was comfortable, the furniture and bathroom is a bit dated, in need of some tlc. Need some proper towel racks. Air conditioner (heat) work well. There is free WiFi but bad coverage. Rose garden was very nice with them just coming into bloom. Easy drive from Adelaide & handy to... More

My new husband and I stayed here due to the location of the motel and for the fact that it had a Restaurant on the premises. The staff at Reception were most helpful upon arrival. We ate at the Restaurant the first night. A 2-3 star Restaurant charging 5 star prices. The wait staff were extremely friendly and were really... More

First of all, take note that it is a MOTEL and not a HOTEL and despite what some sites say it is only 3 Stars NOT 4 Stars. It is very dated and being in the Barossa, I would expect to find some sort of heating in the bathroom for the winter periods but alas no. I also wouldn't want... More

When you are enticed into a 'Special deal' weekend getaway, you do not expect the hotel to be still in a state of the 1960's and less comfortable than your own house. Although our room was large and clean, it smelt musty, it had thread bare carpets in all the corners, mismatched decor, and a noisy old 'window frame' airconditioner... More
