This was exactly what we were after, great location for exploring the Barossa. Warm and comfortable with everything you could ask for! Very clean and welcoming, we will certainly come back! Especially for the open fire.

We absolutely loved the cottage. Quaint and clean with everything we needed. Sue kindly provided a high chair and portacot for our little boy at no extra charge. Such a great base to explore the Barossa. Greenock itself is such a beautiful old village with some great wineries and a really good pub (best snitzel I have had in a...

Thanks for the review. Just a small correction re the fire - it is a combustion wood heater (not an open fire). Just in case that bothers any future guests regarding safety. Either way, I agree that sitting in front of it with cheese and wine is a great way to end the day! We will welcome you back anytime.

A lovely cottage with history. The facilities were excellent and the the cottage was very clean and tidy. The breakfast provided was ample with a good selection and well presented, thank you. We enjoyed the fact there was 2 wineries within walking distance. No need to worry about who was going to be the driver. The attention we received at...

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. It sounds like you took advantage of the local establishments within walking distance of the cottage. Two more cellar doors are rumoured to be opening in Greenock soon too. We look forward to you or family and friends staying anytime.

Great little place for a weekend getaway. Loved the facilities and the breakfast provisions were delicious. Was very comfortable and felt at very much at home, but with the added extra of involving a piece of Barossa/SA history. It was great that the Greenock Brewery was a stones throw away - a very nice change of scenery for when we...

Our family group of two couples enjoyed two nights here recently and it was most comfortable - well equipped and nicely presented. Communication during booking process was efficient, and we appreciated the breakfast provisions (and thank you Sue for the Gluten Free bread). Plenty of information on local attractions was provided, and we found the hamlet of Greenock an ideal...

Thank you for the comprehensive review of the cottage and Greenock. I agree that it is a good location for exploring the Barossa. I'm glad you found the opportunity to visit the local wineries and the brewery. Fans in the bedrooms is something that I agree could be beneficial and I will investigate. Thanks for the suggestion.

The place was nice but it lacked in the hospitality department. Breakfast supplies for 1 day, when questioned was told that it's a healthy choice to only have bacon once, thought it was my choice. Not one tissue in the place. Very disappointing

Hi David. Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I'm glad you found the cottage facilities suitable for your group. I'm also glad we were able to accommodate your request for an early check in in order to prepare for your son's wedding, and the extra guests added at the last minute. I'm not sure how you...

Just spent a few days relaxing here - was tidy, comfortable and quiet. The host (Sue) had left local artisan provisions for breakfast which were amazing. Really good base to explore the Barossa and surrounding areas.

We stayed for a long weekend here and we all really enjoyed our stay. The Bnb felt homely, comfortable and it had lovely personal touches such as toys and amenities for children as the owner knew we were coming as a family. It is a convenient location with an oval and playground across the road and the local pub and...

What a beautiful little cottage with all the amenities for your stay to be comfortable. We only stayed one night but wish we had a few more nights to enjoy the surrounds. Next visit to the Barossa will hopefully a include another stay at this wonderful place.

The cottage is very authentic and immediately transports you back to the 1830's. It was well stocked with all you could want for breakfast and included nice touches like bath robes! The heating (this was July !) was very effective with reverse cycle as well as, a fire stocked with good supplies of wood. The information pack was very comprehensive...
