Detailed Reviews
Good location, very comfy bed for a good nights sleep. No sink in bathroom meant washing hands in the kitchenette, however the bathroom, although in need of an update, had the most amazing shower that massaged the back of your neck, plus great water pressure. Also, this is straight across the road from the Barossa Farmers Markets and it also houses Joannes Cafe which was very clean with a great menu. Basic but everything you need!

Our family booked two rooms here for two nights as part of our week-long tour through the vineyards.
The Angaston Vineyards Motel was located near to a few small villages - Angaston, Nuriootpa and Tanunda. A car is definitely needed around here to visit the Barossa Valley wineries and the see the local sights.
Good comfortable accommodation and a little cafe within the complex for breakfast or snacks.
Recommended.

We stayed here for 2 nights recently and found it really good value compared to other accommodation in the area. Yes it is a bit dated, but it is spotlessly clean with everything you need. It is also really well positioned just outside of Angaston close to lots of Vineyards as well as Tanunda and Nuriootpa. I would stay here again if we ever came to the area.

The most important details - clean linen and a very comfortable bed were 5/5.
I love that the windows were left open for the room to get fresh air, this detail was really nice. Very nice new flat screen TV.
The room and the hotel are dated, and the temperature control on the shower was touchy (hot or cold), and the air conditioner was wall-mounted (a bit noisy).
All and all a comfortable and affordable place to enjoy the Barossa.

If you are looking for no frills quality well priced accommodation, this is the BEST option in the Barossa Valley. Nicely situated between Angaston & Nurioopta (and not too far away from Tanunda as well), this quietly located motel offers a lovely temperature controlled outdoor pool and great BBQ area as well.
With hospitality business doing it tough during these Covid times, let's support where we can. This motel is well worthy.

First impressions upon entering the motel room, was yes this place smells clean; and it was, could not fault it.
Whole place was clean.
Bed was comfortable & they used pillow & mattress protectors on the bed.
Shower was clean & heaps of room in the bathroom.
Everything worked as it should.
Towels smelt lovely & very soft.
Car parking right out the front of the room under a carport.
We will definitely stay there again when in the Barossa.

This place is great! My stay was perfect and exceeded all my expectations. Better yet, when I forgot some of my items upon leaving, the staff were exceptionally helpful and lovely to deal with while retrieving the items. Great people and a beautiful place to be.

This little place was perfect, not overly expensive for the Barossa, bed was super comfy, shower was great once the water come hot did take quite awhile. A little kitchenette so you can make breakfast or get breakfast and enjoy in your room. Owners were very pleasant. Nice size tv, the rooms are much nicer than the photos. We found it a perfect spot and would definitely stay again. The only thing that could be done better is the housekeeping wasn’t exactly professional the bed was just pulled up and they could do with some new towels but overall a great spot. With great coffee next door. Also free wifi which was excellent

This was ok as a base for a short Barossa trip, and the pricing is good. The rooms are certainly clean and there is good parking space for each room, and staff are very friendly.
But don’t expect too much more. Rooms are dated although there’s upgrade work going on at present.
Angaston itself is a pretty dull place, but this is still within 5km of where the interesting part of the Barossa begins, so this hotel is definitely a fine place to stop and explore the region.
Also, there’s very little around the hotel, most of what you’ll do from there is by car or bike!

A classic older style motel with parking outside the door and clean, basic accommodation in a big room. Plenty of hot water. There’s only a single basin for both bathroom and kitchen needs which is not ideal. We found the laundry useful. The machines only take coins but the service station next door was helpful in changing notes. The motel is about 2km out of town so you need to drive for breakfast and dinners. Saturday morning Barossa Farmers Market is just across the road, bonus! Good value for a short stay. Angaston is a very pretty town.

It was six months or so since we stayed there but is a lovely motel run by a very friendly couple. From memory, we stayed in a queen room and it had a microwave, kettle, bar fridge, cups and mugs, glasses, tea spoons. There may have been a toaster but I can't be certain. Sorry. They do have a lovely breakfast room with cereal/toast/juice/fruit/pastries etc. available also with a cooked breakfast if required.
Hi John C,
Yes we have a microwave in all our guest rooms & we have a guest laundry also. $3.00per wash\$2.00 per dry or a cloths line on the nicer days.Hope this helps. Kind Regards, Management.
