I have dived/stayed at Manta Lodge several times over the last 18 months and have ALWAYS have an awesome time! The staff are exceptional; they will go over and above to ensure your stay is pleasant and all diving is catered to you as an individual - not just as the next paying customer. There services and amenities are always...

While in Brisbane for a few days I did a day trip out to Manta for a couple of dives off North Stradbroke Island. Though I missed the manta ray season by a week the dives were far from disappointing - there were plenty of other large animals to see. I touched noses with a huge loggerhead turtle, must have...

My partner and I stayed here just last week and had such a great time. My partner did a "Discover Scuba" and James, the owner, was so patient with him. He had never even used fins before and James went above and beyond to make him comfortable. We felt really at home at Manta. The diving itself was fantastic too....

We did 4 dives with the shop and camped at Adder Rock next door. The skippers were excellent considering some of the beach launches was quite gnarly. The dive groups are not too big, which is good and the divemasters are good at guiding you around the best parts of the sites. There was a bit of current on the...

We did not stay at the lodge, but dived with them for all our dives around Straddie over the New Year's period! The beach launch of the boat is interesting, the diving is amazing and the staff is really good. We brought up our own tanks to do a few shore dives and they drew us up a bit of...

The team at Manta Lodge are so nice, helpful and welcoming. Within 2 days I had relaxed by the beach and dived with manta rays. The Hammock got a great workout and the fishing was great. Will be back very soon

Manta Lodge is an absolute gem! the accommodation is backpacker style but the standard is well above that of most backpackers we've been to, the rooms are clean and the beds comfy, the bathrooms and kitchen are spotless and the communal areas are large and inviting, the whole place, including the staff and management, encourage you to mingle with other...

We did not stay or use the lodging facilities but I am rating Manta Lodge 5 stars for the experience we had on our manta snorkel trip with staff members James, George and Gerald. They were the perfect balance of being informative, responsible, attentive and funny. We took the afternoon trip which takes 11 passengers. The Manta Bommie is a...

I have stayed at Manta Lodge numerous times and my husband dives with them. The managers Zoe & Chong are fantastic and cannot do enough to make your stay great. The recent refurbishment has enhanced the place and the diving is always fantastic. Have met some wonderful people every time we visit and will be coming back for many years...

We booked a double dive for Xmas Day. Arrived early morning for the fitting, we only had our mask and snorkel, as ticked on the Manta Lodge sheet. JAmes was passing us all of the equipment that got loaded on board by Michaela, so we didn't have to do much. George and James were nice, maybe a bit in a...
