I am glad I read the reviews before I stayed here. I am relocating for work and I rang to ask if they did long term stays with weekly rates because I will be moving over for work. The first lady I spoke to i couldn't understand a word she was saying and she kept asking if I was coming over for work, if I already had a job, when do I start and where will I be working and who will I be working for. I thought was quite odd as that is not something they would need to know. Then she proceeded to ask if I will be traveling with family, pets or alone and I told her alone. I just need somewhere to stay until I can secure me a house. She then said she will have a look to see what is available and handed the phone to another lady for me to give my number to so they can contact me. While the other lady was grabbing my details I just asked that they email me the information that should he enough and she said ok then the first lady I was speaking to was talking in the background telling her to get my number so I gave it. Then come for the time to end the call she hops back on the phone and says we have accomodation for for and it will be $1000 a week. I told them just email me the quote and she said no I'm telling you now what it is. If you want it you have to pay now on the phone. So I told them I will contact them as inhave other places to look at. Customer service skills are shocking and seems she just ages up prices that suits her... so nope I will not be staying here.

Southport Tourist Park Southport Never book never go you might get asked for a cigarette If I could put -10 (negative) I would This place is a sham, stay else where they will rip you off swear at you & blatantly lie to you about certain things. Watch out for the German Shepard that might or will jump the fence See also the Google reviews as well

If u want to shower with drug addicts sitting in the next cubicle in a circle, brush your teeth with animal poo or someone’s hair sitting on the communal basin for 8 days - go here. Owner pushed over a 2yo child and charges whatever she pleases that’s why there is no set price on the outdoor advertising and will beg for labour from visitors to save herself money, when critical defects are pointed out to her she will dismiss them and the photos of this premise are many years old!! She is rude, aggressive and does not advise there are no refunds only credits coz she needs the money and knows after the first hour you will run. Police showing up for drunken fights or domestic violence. It’s a breeding ground for germs and the attached photos is a small glimpse of what it truly looks like In the so called “kitchen” STAY AWAY you are safer on the side of the road at a beautiful Gold Coast beach

I should've read the reviews first before I booked!! Paid $300 for 2x nights (Fri and Sat, late September 2021) for a Cabin with an en-suite for myself and my 5yr old grandson. Massive problems with the hot-water service. A maintenance guy did a temp fix which did nothing, an actual Plumber came and said it should work while I'm there and stated he would tell the owners he'd fix it on Monday. My grandson was able to quickly shower, however I just got pure cold water. I went down to the communal showers but they were locked and it was out of hours so I couldn't gain access to a key. I called the only phone number given, multiple times, with no answer and no follow up by staff. I was not offered a new Cabin until my day of departure by the lady owner. I asked for a partial refund for the difference between what I had paid for and a cabin with no en-suite, she bluntly refused stating she'd give me 20% off my next stay, I stated I would never be coming back. I also stated that if I gave a review of her Business I would tell the truth about it and she stated "that would be my karma". I was completely blown away by her attitude and customer service as a business owner. I contacted the ACCC and emailed and called this business numerous times to get my reasonable request of a partial refund and was ignored. I contacted Consumer and Business Services, lodged a complaint, had them follow up my complaint and still the owner flatly refused to refund any monies to me. I write this review in the hope the owner reads another bad review and adjusts her attitude towards her customers. Hard to believe this business is still in business - personally I think it should be shut down after all the reviews - this business clearly enjoys ripping off people!

It would have to be the worst place to stay the Gold Coast council should comdem this place its nowhere up yo health regulations its a halfway house for druggies crims its horrendous. The owners were arguing when I went to check in they wanted $50 cash deposit for a key. We were charged $60 and night and we had a caravan and I paid for 3 nights left after 1. They gave me a credit so all I can say i won't be using it. Its disgusting. ..

This caravan park is the worst caravan park. 1. We were paying 550$ a week for a cabin not even 1 bedroom. 2. It was filthy and smelly upon arrival had to be wiped down with disinfectant wipes EVERYWHERE, crack in the tiles and is lifted so you can trip on it. We went to change the batteries in the tv remote that was sticky taped together and completely fell apart. The hot water runs out so quickly. 3. She tells ALL of her guests not to speak to anyone in the park as I think she is charging everyone different prices. She yells at her staff for saying hello to guests. 4. I checked out her her and her daughter to accuse me of stealing a pot lid, breaking their remote that was already broken when we got there portable stove tops were rusted within 5 minutes of turning the lights of at the night the bench is filled with big ants. Told me it wasn’t the cleanest when I left and I could of left it cleaner when it was filthier when we arrived ! WOULD RECOMMEND NOT TO VISIT SOUTHPORT TOURIST PARK THEY ARE A RIP OFF AND RUDE. Worst run park I’ve ever been to.

On arrival the janitor and a customer were fighting. We then got to our cabin to see Poo skid marks on toilet, bugs in bed, pool unclean... then a leashless dog who tried attacking a family member (the dog is scared of people with tattoos, but owner of the dog was very nice about it) one night for 6 people $300 Overpriced for what it is. And very unhygienic.

The highlight of our two nights was when the police came and evicted another resident. Unclean and unkept we left our vans locked and spent as little time there as possible. The photos online don’t reflect the standard that you can expect from the park. If it were comparably cheap, one might accept the venue for what it is. However rates are similar to what much better parks in the same area charge. The van sites don’t allow enough room to manoeuvre vehicles around the park. The owners were pleasant but we can’t in good conscience recommend this park to others. We wish you the best but it’s time for either a major refurbishment or some new photos and prices that accurately reflect what you have to offer.

We paid $200 a night for 3 adults in a cabin that was old and run down. The bar fridge door inside had all the racks gone. No cutlery drawer just an open space. Wardrobe door couldn’t open far as it scraped on the floor. Shower cubicle had cracks and black something on the floor of shower. The sink in bathroom had a crack in it. Toaster was dirty and black dots (hoping it was sesame seeds) in with the toaster could be cockroach eggs. Portable electrical hot plates was rusty. We got 3 towels on arrival and the lady who runs this hole refused to give us anymore towels. Said we have to wash them down in the laundry at our expense. After complaining to her asked for a refund and she refused as its thieir policy of no refunds. We asked for a upgrade so she shows us a run down little house that smelt cause it hadn’t be cleaned. It looked like a hovel and she wanted an extra $100 a night for that dump. The small tv was on the top of the wardrobe and the bed was opposite it so only 2 people could watch the tv. We had to put our arm up in the air to change channels. Do not go there it’s disgusting. Definitely needs health inspectors go through the place.

The most horrendous accommodation I have ever had the misfortune to book. Everything about the place is rundown, dated, in poor condition, and in disrepair. The cabin was awful, the pool and outdoor spa area disgusting, the grounds unkempt - and to think we paid $600 for 2 nights for this!!!!!
