We were travelling along the East Coast for a few weeks and stayed in a number of places but this was our favourite. We were travelling from the Whitsundays to Fraser Island and broke our stay with a few days in 1779 and it was the highlight of our whole trip. We had a long drive and were arriving late...

we stayed 3 days in December with our daughter and son-in-law in unit 1. the beach is right across the road and the hotel next door. The bedrooms are air-conditioned and the units are well equipped.. Although we were near the beach and hotel we did not have any problem with noise and were able to enjoy the evenings on...

Lovely warm welcome, lovely staff. Picturesque views and great food. We were late check in and late check out which was not a problem at all. We stayed in the sunset apartment and the morning sunrise at 5:50am was breath taking. There were 3 of us but the apartment can cater for 6 so we had plenty of room. The...

Glad we could help with the late check in and check out.....we will always try and help where possible. Our proximity to the Southern Great Barrier Reef with the 1770 Marina just around the corner is so convenient for our guests. Thank you for staying with us and fantastic that you were able to enjoy those stunning ocean views. Kindest...

We had booked four nights in the Beach Shacks and were very excited about our upcoming trip. We were not disappointed! As we left Miriam Vale on our journey up from outside Brisbane the mobile went and it was Vicky from the beach shacks. She wanted to advise us to shop in Agnes Water so that once we had arrived...

Vicki was very welcoming and helpful. We stayed in the "Treetop" house. Views were brilliant over the bay and would be for all four "Shacks". The design of the living space was open plan, airy and all fittings were good quality and made our stay feel much nicer. We stayed over the weekend and there was no noise except the...

We had a three night stay in 'Escape' which is the third out of four, up the hill. Stairs on a steep slope connect all the shacks. Our parking space was off the road from the top which was a shorter climb. We had a great view so the stairs aren't a bother. The shack is fully self contained with...

We had a 3 night stay at the beach shack and will definitely be back. That view is amazing, rooms are clean, bright and airy, kitchen has everything you need and the bbq on the balcony was great. We also hired the onsite kayaks and had a wonderful paddle around the bay. Perfect position across the road from the beach...

This is a lovely place to stay, with superb views and a great ambiance. We stayed in the very top room, which was easy access from the parking up the top, and felt very balinese. This accommodation is not cheap - but if you are after a special treat it is worth it.
