Great experience, location, price and amenities were spot on. Had a great stay and will do it again. Booked for a family function at a local venue. Great all round experience. Very clean, nice view of the sea from our room and no bad things to say.

The appearance of the overall complex is attractive and modern. The Lobby/reception is nice and as expected from the webpages and online brochure. Internally the décor can use an update, a lick of fresh paint to remove the scratches and scruff marks from the walls etc. would be a great move. It’s looking well used and a bit tired. Pool towels for guests would be a great gesture. As those travelling from interstate for a few days don’t pack pool towels. We stayed in a 2br 2bth apt. The apartments are a good size and have great bathrooms, but they could do with a really good deep clean. By this I mean: Clean the lounges (eek) & the windows… the Bugs and Spiders, spiders webs, cobwebs!!; Vines growing through the windowsills; Broken curtains and bent lamp shades need some interior design attention; remove the copious amounts of bird poop from the patios; the dirty dishwasher/s (smelly) need a good rinse and clean etc… This is not ideal or a great look for accommodation that costs at $300, $400+ per night, and that’s 30 to 40+ minutes drive from the Brisbane city. We paid just under $1100 for 3 nights. If the Mon Komo Accommodation isn’t given a refresh then in its current state… I’m sorry to say it’s overpriced by $120-$150 per night. The Redcliffe area is nice. Very family friendly. The markets on the Sunday are good. There are plenty of food choices nearby, a supermarket within walking distance, a Westfield shopping centre (North Lakes) 15 minutes drive away. *Disclaimer: posting reviews while travelling… spelling and grammar mistakes are a given. Just accept it*

We normally stay in Brisbane but this trip we stayed in Redcliffe to be closer to family. Mon Komo is the perfect location to access the shops, restaurants and beach. Pleasant staff and a large airy room. (2 Bedroom Apartment)

When you arrive at 2330 and you ring the afterhours number for the first response to be we tried to contact you after a 5-hour flight from Perth plus driving from the airport wasn't great welcome. Then there was a large black hair on one of the white towels. At 0615 I popped down to reception handing my form explaining that I had come in after 2230 I asked whether there supposed to be an ironing board in the room given I had looked everywhere and couldn't find one - First response was, isn't there one in the room and then proceeded with you can ring down to get one (arrived at 2330 and was standing in front of her 15 minutes after reception opened). Then when I asked about breakfast was told that Oasis was open and that was left with no explanation that it was 600m left down the street. I don't mind a walk but give you customers some idea - my first assumption was that it was in the front of the Oaks - walked around and then used google maps.

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed. Great value for money, clean and comfortable. Great location for beach and lagoon access. The only thing that was a little bit annoying was that you don't get allocated a car spot to park and if the hotel is busy, you get re-assigned to park on another level, which then causes issues with accessing the carpark and your room, i.e., you need hotel staff to get you around. They were also renovating the facade at the time of our stay which woke us up around 6 am. Minor issues though and would still stay there again.

Check in process was fine, but the rooms furniture is dated, worn & should have been replaced years ago. The room had a laughable balcony size, stains on the carpet, marks and dents all over the walls. At $300+ a night, they are taking the piss. This is the quality i'd expect from sub $200. The entire location is in desperate need of a renovation.

I do not recommend this place, upon arrival all seemed quite nice....but once settled we found the bins hadn't been emptied, there were discarded laundry detergent wrappers in the laundry sink a plastic razor cover in the bottom of the washing machine and the carpets were sticky our feet were black from walking around on it not even 10 mins after showering! Definitely do not recommend
