There are a couple of small tweaks that need to be done, but we left Seahorse Inn after 4 nights with such a good sense of well being that it gets 5 stars. The rooms are comfortably and lushly furnished. We loved the bathroom lighting - there is an option for softer night lighting, thus not disturbing the sleeping partner should the other need to use the toilet. The meals were huge and lots of choice, not gourmet but very nicely done, plenty of seafood options which is great. The location is lovely- right on Twofold Bay and only 10 minutes from Eden. We were there for the absolutely stunning Sapphire Coast walks - absolutely gorgeous and such a secret amongst all Australian walks. Ten out of ten for the amazing staff- many have been there for years and it felt like family. The tweaks - some more comfy couches in the bar area - and make more of the view. Take the tshirt rack away - it looks so tacky. Put a gas fire or ethanol fire in the upstairs living area for atmosphere.

We stayed here for 4 nights & used the Seahorse as a base for searching/visiting the surrounding towns and taking hikes through the nearby National Parks. While not exactly on the cheap side we must say that our room was large, clean & had brilliant bay views. All staff were extremely friendly & helpful. Meals were fantastic & the room service we opted for due our Covid concerns, was great. Having said that it was not 'cheap' it was very much worth the extra for such a delightful stay. Would happily return when next in the area.

My wife and I stayed here in June and loved the place. Our ground floor room was of a good size with tasteful decor and a large modern style bathroom. We had dinner in the dinning room and enjoyed it immensely and to boot they have a good wine selection. All the staff were friendly and professional. We have recommended this establishment to our friends and family. To note, for those travellers that have difficulty with stairs the first floor is accessed by a lovely staircase that might challenge some. I noticed another guest that was in this situation and saw the staff carry his luggage upstairs and carefully assisted him on the stairs to his room. Nevertheless a great place to stay.

Had a wonderful stay at the Seahorse Inn last night. I stayed in a garden view room . The refurbished bedroom is so tastefully done. Everything was perfect, was lovely waking up this morning to the sound of the kookaburras and then breakfast in bed served by a lovely staff member. Last night I had dinner in the Brasserie, my all time favourite chicken schnitzel and served with mushroom sauce and a lovely fresh salad. Was a special treat to myself. Shame I didn't come last week as the girls told me there had been a mother and calf whale out the front of the Inn. What a paradise Twofold Bay at the front door. Had a lovely walk on the beach before dinner and watched as the sun went down. I will be back,

We were recommended to visit this restaurant by a local and we were not disappointed! The food was amazing and the service impeccable!! The calamari salad was the winner but we were all extremely happy with all aspects of our meal and the staff were lovely :)

My partner and I got married at the Seahorse Inn at the end of March. What a venue! There is nothing we could fault. The Seahorse Inn is such an idyllic spot and has everything you need for a wedding - scenery, venue, accomodation and shuttle bus. We had multiple compliments on how great the food served was and how it was well thought out for those who needed food amended due to dietary requirements. A huge thank you to the chef and her team. Unsure if we are meant to mention people by names! But the hotel manager 'A' and her colleague 'S' were very professional and it is clear they know what they are doing when it comes to weddings. They made the day run smoothly, look beautiful and nothing was too hard for either of them or their team. Thank you for helping us with our big day!

It was such a lovely surprise to arrive at this amazing resort after driving through bushland. The room was very luxurious and everything was clean. The beach was in a bay so, calm but there were shells, seaweed, bird life and very few people. Our meal was of local produce, oysters and crayfish. Yum! Right near Eden but so much better!

Everyone we spoke to in Eden when we said we were staying in Boydtown said then don't miss a visit to the Seahorse Inn, so on these recommendations we thought we were obligated to pay it a visit. We planned to visit on our last day here and that is what we did. My husband had the scotch fillet steak sandwich and I had the special linguine. Both meals were exceptional and if we had time we would certainly return here. Don't make the mistake of missing this restaurant if you are in the area.

A hotel with superb views across Twofold Bay to Eden's Boat Harbor. The view from our balcony was up there with the best views experienced across the globe. The hotel has a unique charm assisted by a rural and seaside setting. And, Eden is only a 5 minute drive away. Would love to be here when the migratory whales stop over with their calfs in Twofold Bay. The service from staff is attentive and nothing is too much trouble. From the moment we arrived to when we left a very warm welcome was always on offer. Full credit to the hotel owners for donating free of charge the permanent indoor space for local artisans and artists to sell their wares. One of the exhibiting artists informed us of this detail. The room itself was well appointed and with that stunning view included. Importantly, the bed like the room, was comfortable and to a high standard. The breakfast included in the tariff, and which is delivered to the room was right on the money. The dinner / lunch dining is also of a very commendable standard. Wish we knew how good the Seahorse Inn was when booking as we'd have stayed longer than just the 2 nights. Hope to return here sooner than later.

We stayed overnight while heading south. It was a great location on the south of Twofold Bay, about 10 minutes outside of Eden. A building steeped in history that has been refurbished. Our accommodation was upstairs, and as a tall person, it was a bit awkward as the ceiling followed the angular roofline and there were many low points I kept bumping into. This is a first-world problem, easily managed and should not detract from the stay. The staff were very friendly and accomodating and we would stay here again. We ate at the restaurant and it was quite pleasant but more like standard pub food and service. Nothing wrong with that, just that it portrays itself as a restaurant and it is more like a bistro.
