Our first view of this motel, made us go ohoh!! But we were greeted by a lovely smile at reception, and then on opening the door to our room, it was so clean!! We were doing a road trip, and this was the cleanest, most comfortable bed, best fridge, kettle and TV AND WiFi of all the places we stayed.. and it was the best price!! The staff were also so friendly, and so helpful!
$270 for one night, 100% not worth it. We had blood on one of our beds and a dirty towel. Probably one of the worst places we have stayed and I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. We understand it is the hot season around Christmas time but still not value for money. They charged us for an extra bed we didn’t ask for. All in all won’t be returning nor recommending.
Me and my partner had no were to go so we chose nimo motel as it's stated pet friendly we have a 15 yo small dog we then got told to vacate and not come back because of a dog he doesn't bark he is harmless yet left us on the street looking for another place to stay the staff was rude didn't speak English come to room with translater very shocked with the way we was treated over a pet yet they have bikies living there with people pulling up saying there going to kill them but there fine to stay I will never be back and anyone looking for a place to stay do not stay here the owners are dodgy the place stinks the rooms are dirty and run down its the worst stay of my life !!!
I’m writing this after the 2nd time my family and I have stayed here in the last year. The rooms are older-style, but considering they have the cheapest accommodation prices - not only in Eden, but probably the whole Sapphire Coast - they are great for what you pay. They are clean and comfortable and our kids loved the playground and the pool. The staff are the real stars. They bent over backwards to try to make our stay comfortable and positive both times - especially considering our first stay was during the middle of the pandemic and we were there for a few weeks (while we looked for a rental as we had just moved into the area). They are extremely respectful and accommodating, allowing us to have a late checkout both times due to a few issues we were having. They are also extremely kid friendly (unlike another close by motel, who made us feel unwelcome the whole time we were there because we had kids). I have read a few negative reviews here about the Nimo hotel and honestly, I think those people are too entitled, expecting gold for pennies. It is what it is - a comfortable, clean place to stay if you’re on a budget and want to be treated like you’re actually welcome, even though you have a few kids. We will recommend to anyone who’s staying in Eden.…
I'm not gonna take a dump on the owners of this tired old motel. If you just need a room to sleep and put your gear while you trip around the greatness that is Eden and the surrounding areas and you dont care about half decent WIFI (use your mobile hot spot its likely to be way faster) and you get a good deal then this will do.. The chinese family that run it are very friendly. The restaurant was closed due to COVID. The grounds and driveway are in poor condition, the place is old but for $80 a night when everywhere else is $100+ its worth it.. ***bring your own plates, bowls, cutlery and cleaning stuff if you intend eating in the room.. We came with a picnic pack fully prepared and we needed it.. It was a cheap deal, we needed a room for 2 nights and put the savings elsewhere. If your a thrifty person, this place is fine.. If your used to 3-5 stars, go elsewhere.…
Over priced! The room and bathroom especially was very outdated The outside lights were so bright I couldn’t sleep stayed on for way too long The presentation of the overall property was poor and car park was in poor condition with uneven ground and potholes
Arrived and was offered a can of coke or bottle of water. I stayed in room 15. I paid $45 for the room. Yes $45. The room was clean enough for it's age. The carpet was clean but did have ingrained staining. The bathroom was original and some minor mould around tiles on base of wall. Room had tea and coffee and bonus 3 Oreos - delicious. Would have loved a floor towel for the shower. Bed was comfortable. Disappointingly, the restaurant which everyone had been talking up was closed for renovation and I thought he said it had been closed since January but other reviews have mentioned it so it could have been July. Check to see if restaurant open. It was Wednesday night and the Country Club was closed. I had special friend rice from Chinese in town which was OK. There is a large backyard if you have kids. They have some peacocks in cages. They are in the middle of renovating so hopefully willl improve the place. For $45, even $60 - it's a great deal .…
Eden Nimo is a nice budget motel that is pretty good value for money. Nice and clean rooms, good rates, and not too far from town either makes this a nice choice if you're passing through town. There is also a restaurant on site which sells delicious Chinese food as well.
Place was clean, Food was great, Friendly staff, Nice & Roomy, Beds are comfy, Pool n mini Play area for kids. Lots to see and do, great golfing and fishing place's. Nice beach. Nice and peaceful. Great time away to stay.
I was looking for a cheap alternative to camping on our way to the MotoGP at Phillip Island. The place is beyond it’s use by date but was clean and quiet. The friendly staff were all smiles and gave us a room with undercover parking for our bikes. The golf club across the road provided a nice meal and a beer.
