As long as you can handle a few inconveniences - like toilette a shower outside your cabin - you should be OK in this place. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. The Forillon Park was close by. We rented bicycles and they were OK too. Fun!

We have a 9 year old boy so we rented the Griffon cabin for 2 nights this summer. We found it by searching "Gaspésie, Non-traditional lodging" - we stayed in 3 of the 5 listed on our road trip around the peninsula. I have to say, it was one of the best holidays I've ever had.... we've been all over... More

A very smooth place with a lot of room to relax and meet nice people right in the heart of Forillon National Park. The nice part of Griffon Aventure is that you might do outdoor activities as well as relaxing in a very calm environment. This environmentally friendly lodging should be an example for many others. Highly recommended !

I do have to give it to them, Olivier did do his best and... More

Location, atmosphere and the place as such are amazing. The kitchen was the best we ever had in a hostel: very big, open and equipped with everything one may need. The place is lovely decorated and we had nice evenings at the fireplace, watching whales in the ocean. The title "adventure" suits the hostel quite good as it is near... More

I stayed one night at "Griffon Aventure" wich is a youth hostel located in l'Anse-aux-Griffons, about 60 km from Gaspe in the Forillon National Park. It is located on a cliff, just above the sea (no access to it). The place is VERY rustique and run down. I am used of going to the Sea Shack, their Partner youth hostel... More
