We stayed here as a family of three, with our 5 year old boy in August 2016. The host, Jenny, was fabulous. Her breakfasts were delicious and her tips regarding the local area were useful and much appreciated. The accommodation itself is, to our knowledge, unique. It offers a self contained, self catering style suite, which is well equipped and...

This is more like a five star self-catering holiday home than just B&B, although the breakfast, which is also five star, is a real bonus. Completely self-contained, wonderful views and breakfast served as well. Jenny is a wonderful host, making time to chat if you wish to. We would certainly return and cannot recommend Byecross House highly enough.

My wife and I stayed at Byecross House over the Easter weekend. We had a wonderful, relaxing break. Jenny is a friendly, helpful and thoughtful host and made us feel very welcome. The B&B accommodation is amongst the best we have ever stayed in. The annex is spacious, light, warm, quiet, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The bedroom opens onto a...

My mum and I had a lovely relaxing short break at Byecross House and we enjoyed some quality time together. It’s a place that holds fond memories as my mum and Nan enjoyed a short break here a few years ago, and I remember my Nan telling me how lovely it was. Jenny looked after us so well from the...

The trickiest thing about this visit was finding Byecross House, negotiating eccentric Devon lanes in a 4x4 is not for the faint hearted. However it was worth the effort. After making our way down a meandering drive we were welcomed by the owner and utterly amazed by the accommodation. As they say in the M+S adverts this is not just a bed...

Very spacious Accomodation, furnished to a high standard. Loved the face we had our own space I. The annexe, though Jenny was always available to help out if required. Superb location, Georgeham is a real English village, blessed with a choice of 2excellent Gastropubs. A big plus for us was the use of the newly refurbished tennis court, made our...

Byecross House is the perfect retreat from London life. It is set in beautiful grounds, a 5 minute stumble to the centre of Georgeham where you will find two great pubs. The Rock Inn and The Kings Arms (we preferred The Rock Inn because of the food and relaxed setting). A 5 minute drive away is Putsborough beach which is...

A great location and part of a beautiful house and garden. The annexe at Byecross is so much more than a b&b, and gives you the room to settle and use it as a base to explore the area. I am a self confessed 5 star princess, and I was entirely at home here - the bed linen smelt beautiful...
