I stayed for 2 nights at Chez Momo, and thoroughly enjoyed my time, and wish it had been longer. Cottages are large, comfortable and built and furnished in true local Berber style, in keeping with the character of Ouirgane. Food was excellent, whether at breakfast or dinner in the evening. The staff were without exception friendly and very eager to...

We flew into Marrakech and after a thrilling drive up into the Atlas Mountains along the twisty roads we arrived at Chez Momo and were greeted by Mustapha. Throughout our three night stay he was very friendly and looked after our every need, arranged hiking trips and gave advice. The hotel is very tranquil with separate cottages set around the...

The new MOMO II is a wonderful place to stay and relax in the berber village of Ouirgane, yet only one hour's drive from Marrakech. The front staff- Mustapha and Fuedo are so kind and professional-nothing is too much trouble. They are friendly and very helpful, as are the other staff who did a load of washing for us. The...

I can't understand the good reviews given here and in some travel books. okay, the scenery IS very nice and quiet , and the rooms ARE furnished with what you can call good taste (which is not at all pricey in morocco, where you can refurbish a complete room for less than 200 euros). I arrived at 8 p.m. in...

We stayed here for three days in August and were initially a bit disappointed as we stumbled off a very hot and crowded bus to find the lush olive groves uprooted... Chez Momo's however is a real oasis. Very friendly staff, excellent food, lovely pool (essential after a hot day's hiking) and incredibly tranquil surroundings. Rooms were simple and our...

We had an excellent stay at Chez Momo! The staff were really friendly and had a great sense of humour The food we had during our stay was good, though you do have to remember this is a small guest house rather than a large hitel with an extensive menu. Our suite was beautiful and there was the personal touch...

We found the staff at Chez Momo very welcoming and attentive. We hired a car at Marrakech and drove up to Ouirgane stopping at Asni for the livestock market on a Thursday. We pre booked 2 suites for us and our 3 sons but could have slept in 1 as they have 2 double bed and a single/sofa in a...

I've just gotten back from a wonderful week in Morocco. Through I-Escape, we booked two nights at Chez Momo. And frankly, from what I'd read elsewhere I was really excited about the place. It looked beautiful!!! Well, looks can be deceiving. Never, never have I EVER stayed at a place more unwelcoming. The service was beyond rude, the food mediocre...

This place was, as others have said, a treat. We found the staff to be friendly and courteous and the service was fine. However, we'd booked over the internet and made sure twice of the price. When we came to paying it was over £50 more, and they'd also charged us for drinks we'd never had. This wacked the bill up...

Chez Momo has the potential to be an amazing place but is sadly let down by a number of factors, the main one being terrible service. The hotel is set in a beautiful location with stunning views of the mountains out of your bedroom window. The grounds are also lovely with a relaxed rustic charm to them. What lets this...
