We brought our travel trailer to the Cape Hatteras KOA and were very happy with our choice of resorts. Check in was easy with friendly staff. Our campsite was exactly what we expected with full hook up and a quick walk over the dunes to the beach. It is family and pet friendly. There is a pool and water area...

This is a great camp ground for camping on the beach! The grounds are beautiful! The staff is also great. We had such a great time we've made our reservation for next year. We can't wait to go again!!

Had never been camping in the Outer Banks. We arrived on Sunday and stayed a week. Very friendly desk personnel. Super pool and spa area, well kept up sites. There were also small cabins and suites that looked very cozy. Very dog friendly, of course it was after Labor Day and there were lots of mature campers with their pets....

Let me preface my review by stating that we did not stay at this KOA on our recent trip to the Outer Banks. We traveled all over during our week spent in the OBX, and were heading south on our way to Ocracoke when we discovered the Cape Hatteras KOA. Our family has vacationed at many a KOA, so we...

This is truly the best koa I have ever been to. The sites are spacious, the staff is friendly, and you are right on the dunes to the beach. The kids love the pool and the ice cream parlor right down the street. We will definitely be back time and time again!

We started our road trip along the East coast on the Outer Banks (we drove all the way to New York) and it remained a highlight for the whole trip. We loved Hatteras Island because it doesn't have as many tourists as Kitty Hawk, Kill Devil Hills or Nags Head. It's rather quiet and the islanders were very nice and...

We stayed in a camping cabin and really enjoyed it. Cabin had AC and cable if you wanted it. Bath house was very nice and pretty clean. The outside sink for campers without water was pretty nasty and never got cleaned in the 4 days we were there. Pool area was top notch! Beach was wide and beautiful. Lookin forward...
