This is a beautiful property. But it is terribly managed. When I arrived I was told the elevator was broken. Now I understand that things break and hurricanes happen here in North Carolina. But I should've been notified before I arrived. I was on the third floor and it was quite difficult to bring our luggage and groceries upstairs. Then...

Hurricane Arthur took out their ONLY elevator, and we were not told about it until days before our trip. When you booked the top floor of a condo unit, that means you must haul all your stuff up 4 floors. We stay for a week, and without the elevator, it has severely impacted our stay (we are less likely to...

After a 13 hour drive from Maine the only thing we wanted was a glass of wine and a clean room. We were thrilled to walk through the door and be greeted by an exciting array of kite surfers just outside the balcony, and a "Love Shack" that was anything but a shack. The unit was beautiful, and clean with...

We stayed here September 2012 - first week of offseason. Originally booked Sunset on the Sound house but upon arrival we were shifted to Downwinder due to the last family breaking the tub. No big deal. As for the rooms, the pictures on the website actually do their justice (rarely able to say that). The rooms were clean upon arrival....

We stayed at the "Love Shack" and rented through Hattaras Realty. Check-in was convenient, as the office was less than a mile up the road. I was a little disappointed in the cleanliness of the condo. Sand in the bed (gross!) and after PURCHASING cleaning solution realized the stovetop was filthy. The sliding glass doors were dirty. The only provided...

In an attempt to plan a last-minute summer vacation with lots of "must haves", we stumbled across Waves Village and decided to give it a try. We loved that the condos were basically new, had a pool, and accepted dogs. We were very pleased that the condo looked exactly like the pictures on the internet and the views of the...

We chose to stay at Waves Village because it was waterfront, pet-friendly, and did online reservations for stays shorter than 1 week. We stayed in the Life is Good unit, and were thrilled to discover that it looks exactly as it does in the pictures. The furniture and furnishings were beautiful, and the view couldn't be beat. We had never...

We are so glad to hear that you enjoyed the views and your overall stay at the resort. We have read your concerns about the elevator and the cleaners. We want to apologize for these inconveniences and assure you that we have addressed these concerns with our cleaners and the elevator has since been maintenanced for better service in the...

Based on the pictures of the website and the location, it's a perfect place to stay at Rodanthe. And I'd have to say the property does look like what you see on the pictures. But...why did I give this "Resort" an average rating? It's because I'm quite put off by what they provide as in all the basics. For 8...

Hello, We are sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with the basics provided to you at the condo you stayed in. In most cases extra garbage bags and dish soap are provided under the sink in our condos. We have spoken to our cleaning crew to make sure these stay stocked up. Also, we usually provide at least...

My husband and I stayed in the Nights in Rodanthe unit (top floor, middle unit) on our anniversary weekend. I wish we could have moved in permanently! It was VERY clean and what a view! It was beautifully decorated and so comfortable. The kitchen has great appliances, the bathrooms have great showers and the view of the sound was amazing....

“Second floor rooms have essentially the same view as the top floor-and a lot less of a walk. Third floor rooms have a walk, but you don't have anyone above you. #19, #22, and #33 are the ends away from the parking lot. We liked #19 better than #31 that was on the parking lot. Quieter on garbage day!”
