Great little motel - stayed there more than once - very biker friendly. Mrs. Phillips who owns it, immediately welcomes you and make you feel like you're one of the family (her kid - HA) - nothing fancy, just comfy and quirky clean rooms.

When we got there with no reservation after a week of sleeping on the ground and no showers, the owner said she was pretty much full up, but she had an efficiency with kitchen that she gave to us for the same price as a motel room. The furniture wasn't fancy, but it was very clean and the bed gave...

The check-in area is in the style of a bank teller in a high-crime area. And there isn't always someone there, so sometimes you have to call the number, and sometimes they don't pick up. There's also a sign pointing to a bell, and another sign saying don't ring the bell. So it's a bit confusing. Especially when the sun...

We evacuated from a hurricane and headed straight for the mountains. We picked this place partly because of the reviews but mostly because they had an "apartment" where me and each of my teenage kids could have our own beds. King for me (with wonderful memory foam topper), queen for the boy-child and twin for the girl-child. My kids tell...

Needed a place for several of us to stay together. Got three bedroom cottage and was very comfortable for all. Ample parking for bikes and cars. Several eating choices are in walking distance. Easy access to Tail of the Dragon too.

The room was cleanish but very homey. We stayed here for a weekend while we went rafting and visiting family. It's a good value, just don't expect top notch rooms or anything fancy. The parking is near the rooms as well, nothing special but very good for your money.

The room took me back in time, but it was super clean and had a microwave and fridge. My only complaint was the bed it was kind of hard. Throw in a pillow top and it would be a 5 star. I loved the old time feel of the place though a welcome change from the cookie cutter motels you...

I got a room with a king size bed. It is an older motel but it was clean. My friend got a room with a double bed and his shower was really small with no counter space at the sink. I will stay there again. The lady at the desk, Reba, made me smile. If you are looking for the...

My husband, I and another couple stayed at the Phillips Hotel June 23td through June 28th. The room was very comfortable with free Wi-Fi, refrigerator and microwave. The location was prefect to walk to town for dinner, breakfast, ice cream and stores for those snacks and items you might have forgot to pack. The hotel is very bike friendly and...

When I made plans for my trip to Robbinsville, I was looking for a room with two queens and the Phillips Motel was what was available. I checked in through the old bank teller window as noted by another reviewer. The woman behind the counter kept forgetting to hit the talk button so I could not hear what she was...
