Pleasant hotel that's something a bit different. Good super king bed. Tea/coffee making facilities and TV. Would benefit from a small fridge in the room. In need of update of some decor in the room I stayed in (ceiling paper coming off).

My husband and l returned to The Elephant and we were delighted with our room, our meals and the staff we met. Our room was huge and luxurious and staff had considerately put us in the annexe as there was a function on, to ensure we weren't disturbed at all. Each member of staff we met was welcoming and could...

Really comfortable bed, spacious bedroom, great shower and great breakfast. Really good hotel which feels upmarket. Much better here than staying at a chain hotel. Service from front desk staff was also really good. Well worth the money paid.

Visited the Elephant for a friends wedding. The hotel car park is very small (5-10 cars) however there is a large pay and dispaly car park next door. If you are staying here at a weekend, it is free after 6pm on a Saturday, and free all day Sunday :-) Our room was very nice, all the rooms are Indian...

We stayed at the Elephant recently in the Maharajah of Jodpur ( all the rooms have an Indian theme) . The room was very clean and comfortable with a lovely bed and high thread count bed linen. The bathroom was also very good. The dogs had a bed provided with bowls and a Bonio each. We would recommend the hotel....

Visited here on Saturday for a wedding, lovely intimate venue, perfect if you want a smaller day. The decor was lovely, especially the chic chandeliers in the larger room, some of the guests were staying and everyone was chuckling at their room keyrings, they are hand carved elephants! Sadly we couldn't stay the evening which i deeply regret as people...

We stayed overnight as a break from our Thames Path walk, very friendly staff, great atmosphere, good food. Our dog was more than welcome - the first hotel we've stayed at where they provide dog beds, bowls and a welcome treat. Stayed in one of the Annexe rooms - very quiet, away from the road and train track. Huge comfy...

We stayed in room 1, a chic double for one night while visiting family. We were lucky enough to get the last space in the ridiculously small car park. Beware, this is operated by Parking Eye so make sure you input your car registration at reception to avoid a £100 parking charge. First the good - the room was quiet,...

Really pleased with this place - very friendly staff, great atmosphere and really reasonable price (£63 for a meal for 5 of us including a couple of drinks). Would definitely come back here if in the area. Lovely time had by all.
