Really enjoyed staying with Alison & Dave..promised not to mention Tarn the Spaniel. Room 2 extremely comfortable. Dave most accomodating when he saw us sneaking our bottle out of breakfast room fridge in the eve. "have you got a bottle opener? glasses?"

This lovely B&B is in the town of Peterculter which is about 10 miles from Aberdeen. The area is quiet, mainly residential. Up the road a couple of blocks is a village with a small pharmacy, a convenience store, and a couple of restaurants. (Most of this is closed on Mondays.) Down the road a block is the Ploughman Restaurant...

The Furain Guest House was personally recommended to us, we were not disappointed. A friendly welcome from Tarn the House dog was the perfect greeting to our stay. My weekly home from home for the last 6 months. Ideal base for Aberdeen and Royal Deeside for both business and pleasure. Warm welcome from you hosts Alison & Dave. Rooms all clean tidy and well presented. Breakfast a must.

Our Friends who live five minute drive from the lovely wee guest house recommend this place and I can honestly say its a lovely place and good value for money. My wife and I along with my parents had a lovely stay. The owners make you very welcome and are very sociable. The rooms are very clean and very spacious....

Stayed for a couple of nights whilst exploring the east coast of Scotland . From arriving to leaving it was like being in the company of old friends . David the co-owner and chef does a fine traditional cooked breakfast which is guaranteed to see you through the day . The whole ambience of the establishment and levels of comfort...

My wife and I have arrived back home today after a two night stay at the Furain, this is our second two night stay in the last seven weeks. We just wouldn't stay anywhere else. Alison and David are superb hosts they have been owners of the Furain guesthouse just over two years and have upgraded all of the rooms in that period new showers beds and decor even the breakfast room has been brought to the front of the house now you get early morning sunshine with your breakfast I usually stay in room...

Very warm and welcoming place. I enjoyed my stay at Furain. Very comfortable rooms and beautifully decorated throughout. Lovely breakfast with lots of choice. Friendly helpful people and a cute house dog.
