I had bought tickets last summer to play Foxfire and with some bad luck---my hip gave out and I could not play golf and use the Tickets. My daughter was here over the Holiday---my hip is a little better so I called Foxfire to see if they would honor the Tickets. THEY DID and we had a wonderful time. Thank...

The biggest issue is grave in the sand traps. The course maintained acceptable other wise. The course is located outside of Pinehurst, it takes about 20 minutes to get to. The staff is pleasant and helpful. The clubhouse is comfortable.

The first weekend of May is the usual Pinehurst trip for the foursome of friends. This trip we decided to try a couple of courses not previously played. Tee time was 10:30 Saturday morning. We arrived early, hit practice balls and putted on the practice green. The golf professional came out and told us to hit it when we were...

Include both of these courses in your golf trip planning to the pinehurst area. They are both in great shape & very affordable with nice layouts. Wide open fairways with plenty of bunkers. Great staff too.

At check-in, the relaxed setting started with no sales pitch. They confirmed Wi-Fi passwords and local restaurant names. Foxfire Resort is a short drive to Pinehurst Resort. The renovated 2BR unit was clean and neat with golf course views. The fully equipped unit has several sliding glass doors to outside decks. In March the pool was not open yet. I...

The 2 bedroom condo is perfect for our golf needs. Fully equipped for cooking etc. Have stayed here for over 3o years. Quiet setting along the golf course. Golf at 36 holes that you can walk to the club house from our unit. The swimming pool is real nice. 10 min. drive to Pinehurst for meals or shopping. They have...

My third time staying here was definitely a much better experience than the last two times! Managements clearly read the reviews and responded accordingly. I arrived very late at night, but had called first to let them know. They gave me detailed directions on how to retrieve the key at the drop box before hand, leading to a smooth check-in....

I have stayed at Foxfire two times, as it is the only timeshare in the Pinehurst area. I might be generous in giving it 3 stars. If 2 1/2 were an option that's what I would give. Here are my experiences: The first time I was shocked by the lack of some room amenities, like toilet paper and light bulbs,...

My husband and I recently attended a 2 day NCHSAA golf tournament at Foxfire to watch our grandson who was playing in the tournament. We rented a cart on the 1st day, but on the 2nd day of the tournament - NO CARTS WERE AVAILABLE. My husband and I are senior citizens and have difficulty walking long distances. And worse...

I have stayed at Foxfire three times. The condos are just fine and where else can you stay and be surrounded by golf courses? Since the courses have come under new management, they are better - and they were pretty good before. Foxfire is far enough out of Pinehurst to be quiet and affordable while still being in the center...
