What a fantastic B&B. Our room (The Pigsty) was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom and amenties provided were more than satisfactory. The owner was very friendly. Breakfast was "to die for". It was cooked to order and the range on offer was outstanding. The dining room was light and bright and it was a most enjoyable place to linger... More

Stopped here for one night due to a work trip. A fantastic B&B in a really quiet and remote location but still only 4 miles out of Bicester. As you drive down the long farm track you may see wild pheasants and deer. The owner is really nice and helpful and you can phone/text your breakfast order in the night... More

Everything that the website promised was delivered and more. The room and huge en suite bathroom were stunning and alongside the beautiful setting and swimming pool, I can't imagine Merton Grounds can be beaten for quality. The breakfast was delicious, from the homemade jams (4 sorts) to the 'Signature' cooked food. Thank you so much.

Had a fantastic stay at this wonderful B&B. Everything, and I mean everything! has been thought of here to make your stay a wonderful experience. Our ensuite room, The Hay Loft was fabulous, so comfortable, extremely clean and very well equipped. The home cooked, made to order breakfast was excellent. There were home made cakes and treats available to take... More

Our room was beautiful and had everyone one would wish for, with added extras such as fresh milk and water, toiletries and even toothbrushes and razors! Very comfy bed. Breakfast was fantastic. Hostess was very friendly and accommodating, and the home made treats were delicious.

Room was spacious and clean with a modern bathroom. We also made use of the indoor pool. Lovely grounds with a lake and wild deer! Breakfast was really good! Would definitely stay here again if visiting the area.

This was our 2nd visit to Merton Farm and it was just as brilliant as the first time - maybe even better because we stayed in the luxurious Lodge which is absolutely beautiful, with its own private entrance and easy access to the swimming pool! The room itself is beautifully furnished, with a gorgeous bathroom on an upper level. The... More

This was an ideal base for our visit to Bicester. The designer shopping outlet is only ten minutes away and yet we were surrounded by peaceful countryside. It was one of the best bed and breakfast accommodation we had stayed in and the attention to detail was perfect. We stayed in The Old Pigsty which was full of character with... More

Overnight stop after a busy day. Easy to find thanks to very good instructions from the owner. Stunning room, cosy, well equipped, quality fixtures and fittings obviously dressed with thought and pride. Excellent breakfast menu and good information pack in the room. Nothing negative to say - we would love to go back.
