Truly impressive accommodations. We stayed in one of the Bungalows (#12, an end room) and were pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the room. OBX (and Ocracoke in particular) is a wonderful place to relax and spend quiet days and nights to "get away from it all". We have stayed at many other places, but we have now found our...

Once again we had a wonderful week at Edwards.. The cottage was everything we needed to enjoy our stay on the island.. Clean and close to everthi. Our 4yr old is already counting down the days until he can return to his little beach house.. Our only wish would be a little softer beds..

We have stayed elsewhere in Ocracoke in the past. This was the 1st time at Edwards and absolutely loved it. Stayed in a bungalow room on the end, #12. No fridge or microwave in our room but we came prepared. Able to buy ice for our cooler at the front office and they provided us with a coffee pot and...

We had spent a couple nights camping but had to catch a 7:00 AM ferry so we decided to get a hotel. Edwards was the choice and we were very happy with the choice! We got a cottage which had a queen bed in one room, two singles in another and a couch which could be turned into another sleeper....

After the 2 1/4 hr. ferry ride from Cedar Island, this was a nice place to relax. We had a courtyard room (#7) on the end with 2 beds, a fridge, nice walk in shower. It had rained quite a bit, so the roads were flooded. Walking about was not possible, but there are plenty of places to eat within...

What a beautiful little set of rooms, cottages and courtyard. We had a courtyard room which came with two beds, comfortable bathroom, refrigerator and small coffee pot. It was really nice to have a little screened in porch. This hotel is off the main road which is perfect, less traffic and noise. It's easily accessible to stores, restaurants and little...

Was very impressed with overall experience here. Room was immaculate! I was a housekeeping supervisor/ room inspector for a major resort in Wisconsin Dells and for a casino/hotel/ convention center in Baraboo Wisconsin. So I know clean. Absolutely loved the full size stove and fridge. Loved the 50's/60's mis matched dishes and silverware- made it feel like a family summer...

This was a very clean room, however the smell of mold was so overpowering. (didn't see mold, just smelled it.)The owners did try to cover it up with orange spray, which didn't work. The bed was like sleeping on a rock. Do not come here if you have a mold allergy, other than that it was okay.

We take seriously our responsibility to our Customers. In the particular instance, we inquired as to "was the stay satisfactory" and received no negative feedback at "check out" nor during the stay. As to bedding, we attempt to correct any mattress matters if advised; be it soft or hard mattresses. Relative to the statement that there was a "moldy smell"....

Called on the road for reservation. They had one room left in the cottage. It was perfect. Clean, quiet, close to everything. Rocking chairs on the front porch to relax. Would stay here again! The staff was friendly and gave us bags of ice for our coolers. I highly recommend Edwards of Ocracoke. Excellent service and the room was clean....

I have never been in a hotel room so so clean. We stayed in one of the small rooms they had. We had a wonderful time and the staff was very accommodating and nice. Close to everything... great location!
