This is a B&B in a residence. There is a library and large kitchen. The owner, Ann, is on hand for any questions or suggestions and prepares a full breakfast. Try the outdoor shower, as it is a very nice experience. Facility is walking distance to town and owner has bikes available for use should you need one.

Where do I start? I love this place. Here are some fun facts about Oscar's. Park in the front but enter through the back door around the left. An envelope with your name will be taped to the door with a map leading to your room and a note for you inside. Rules of the house are posted in your... More

Sweet little B&B well located on the island. Free bike use, very handy for a quick ride to the beach. Very friendly and chatty owner with good advice to give. Room was spacious and clean. Delicious home-made breakfast different each morning.

My girlfriend and I stayed at Oscar's House this past weekend - and it was a great experience! We wanted something a little different than a motel experience and we were very happy we had made that decision. When we arrived we found a simple little welcome envelope on the door directing us and giving us simple instructions to get... More

Stayed here with a group of friends as a "rental house" from Ocracoke Island Realty. Enjoyed our stay, but might try elsewhere next time we come. Why? Well, the central location is great, however we didn't enjoy listening to the somewhat lackluster live music from the restaurant across the street in our living rooms & bedrooms. Also, while the owner... More

Loved it! Our stay at Oscar's House was truly a delightful surprise! My boyfriend and I stayed at Oscar's House over Memorial Day weekend for one night and fell in love with the place. From the road, Oscar's House is deceptively nondescript but as soon as you walk in the door you can feel the energy of the house which... More
