New Bern is a mid-way point for our frequent travels to the mid-Atlantic region. We were pleased to find rooms available at the Meadows Inn for our most recent trip. The room, on the first floor, was spacious and bright. The queen-sized bed was very comfortable; the extra pillows (found in the cabinet) were appreciated. The bedding was also fine...

Great location in downtown. Just a few blocks to everything. Owners are very nice and accommodating. Their local knowledge and recommendations helped us find several places we really enjoyed and would have missed otherwise. Definitely recommend.

Spent New Years eve in New Bern. Had whole place to ourselves. Owners were perfect. Left us alone but called on our way there to see when we were arriving. Explained everything and good places to eat and drink. Great breakfast with mamosa. Where able to walk everywhere, restaurants, bars and water front.

The Meadows Inn strives to make your stay an experience to remember. The rooms are beautifully decorated with the German theme, relating to the history of New Bern. A quiet, restful inn that is located in downtown so you can park your car upon arriving and walk to everything. The innkeepers furnish cold water, cold drinks, coffee and cookies available...

Enjoyed our stay at this pre Civil War property with easy access to downtown attractions, waterfront, and governor's mansion. Lovely and quiet room. Enjoyed excellent breakfast and nighttime snack (coffee and cookies) in comfortable common area.

it was an anniversary and reunion weekend. i was a little disappointed because other B&Bs we have stayed in all over NC gave a special treat for couples on their anniversary..nothing was down here at all. Also find some roaches in our room, that wasn't pleasant. to be so expensive, it was an OK place to stay, probably wouldn't stay...

We are from Switzerland and had to see New Bern. It was worth the trip. We stayed in this B&B which we really liked. John and Betty were the hosts and did everything to make our stay a most pleasant one. Room was good size and very quiet. There were others staying as well so we were asked to eat...

Due to last minute booking for a conference, the hotels were sold out but I was able to get a room at the Meadows Inn. A very nice change of pace. It's in a fantastic location that is not only near the convention center, but also near the historic downtown with all the great shops and restaurants. The owners were...

We found the Meadows Inn to be delightful. John and Betty were extremely friendly, while also being very professional. At check in, we discussed our plans for the weekend, which included early morning commitments on both Saturday and Sunday, Betty and John provided an earlier seating than their normal 8:30 am to accommodate us. Both mornings our breakfast was served...
