We were traveling on our family vacation. Not many choices of places to stay in this area. When planning our vacation we saw this place had good reviews on tripadvisor so we booked two rooms. Upon arrival, it was obvious that the place was dated, but that wasn't a big deal. We checked in and the gentleman (owner) was very...

With the rates Charlie charges I would like to know how he stays in business. Beautiful cross between a B & B and an upscale motel, the Inn is located on a Golf Course and right on 221. The breakfasts are simple. but the place is neat and clean. The rooms are teriffic, including an in room fireplace and a...

If crossing the BR Parkway, you can find this Inn off of 221. I strongly suggest using the 221 exit, it is five mile pleasant curvy drive off the mountain to the Inn. The inn rooms overlook a golf course, hole no, 9. The decor is early american/victorian and has the charm of a B&B. The owner/manager is Charlie, and...

We decided to take a last minute trip to the mountains. We called this place from the car on the way up. $80, we knew nothing about the place and was kinda expecting a hole in the wall type place. We pulled into the lot at night and thought this place looks pretty nice. We got into the Angelica room....

Just finished spending the weekend at the Inn at Blue Ridge. What a lovely property! First description that comes to my mind is relaxation. It is an older establishment that backs up to a golf course but is very clean and I really liked Charlie, the innkeeper. He reminded me of my grandfather and he had a calming demeanor and...

I'd like to echo many of the great reviews of this B&B. If you're looking for gourmet meals, look elsewhere. If you want quiet but well appointed rooms with all the amenities this is your place. The price is not to be believed. This was our second stay at the property and it is so out of the ordinary we...

Having stayed here several years ago, my wife and I made a detour so that we could spend the night at this lovely little place. Sadly, when we arrived, we learned that one half of the owners, Jan, had passed away last year. This place was now being run by Charlie, a delightful older gentleman who obviously misses his lovely...

This is a wonderful place to stay if you are in the area or headed to the mountains. We were greeted by Charlie, the owner, who is a delightful person. The rooms are spacious with a sitting area. The setting is beautiful and relaxing with the river running along the back of the inn. You can sit on your deck...

This was our second time staying at the Inn. It is some peaceful, quite, relaxing and Charlie is a wonderful host. Our room was most comfortable and never felt cramped as we were there 5 days. We enjoyed one morning out of the patio enjoying nature and golfers on the course. The continental breakfast was great with a variety of...

Its been a couple of years, but we spent 2 nights at the Inn. Its still charming, large rooms, and only $79. A nice continental breakfast awaits in the morning, as does the ever present Mr. Charlie with a smile on his face. We love sitting on the balcony and listening to the flowing creek any time of day
