Our reception was warm, but the service was poor. Although the resort was almost empty, it took 5 hours to get into our room. The facilities are outdated and rundown. The furniture is and carpeting was old and dirty. The overall facilities need a definite face-lift.

I read quite a few reviews that really ran this report down but that was not my experience at all. The units are really unique - each unit almost like free-standing treehouse built into the mountain. The views of the mountain, forest and lake/river were awesome as was the

We spent a week in a 2 bedroom/2 bath condo at Fox Run. We arrived at the unit after office hours but the staff gave us instructions on how to access the keys and directions. That made things easy. The unit itself, when we first came in, smelled musty and was a turn off. Once

Can't begin to tell you how out of the way the staff at this resort will go to please. Prompt, professional, friendly ( off the charts) and genuinely caring. I had a very unique experience which required an unusual confidential request from the staff. They handled it well

It did have a fireplace. The rec area had a Jacuzzi. They do charge $2 for towel rental, so you may want to bring your own.

"Only a handful of units and all along the tenth fairway or green, just a few hundred yards from the Apple Valley pool and clubhouse"
"Do NOT stay here it is NASTY"
"The B unit has stairs to the main living area. I don't know about the A side of the unit."
"We did not see the downstairs units. Based on other reviews, try to request an updated unit. All the units at the Apple Valley location of the resort face the golf course and should be pretty quiet."
"Be aware that B-side units have a long set of stays from a lower level to an upper-level loft/living room. This could be a concern with small children. A-side is all one level."
