We stayed a week from Nov 28 to Dec 6. Although we had the first 3 day super rainy we could enjoy the beauty of fall. The place is very quiet. There was a townhouse, they are in groups of two in each set. We were only 2 but the house could fit up to 6 people. Outside you have... More

The townhouse was laid out in a split level, with lots of room to spare, The kitchen is well equipped, and the web connection works very well. There are few conveniences close by as this property is somewhat remote, and as you would expect the driving to anywhere is very slow and along curving roads. Biggest recommendation is to bring... Originally expected a 40 year old resort which had not been updated, so the large, clean, split level unit, with somewhat dated furnishings, allowed a sigh of relief. Unit 307 on Red Fox Lane had a nice floor plan, although the master bedroom with a king bed, is down stairs (19 steps). It had a large, elevated and fenced patio... More

Nice unit in an absolutely beautiful area. Waterfalls, Chimney Rock. Beautiful! However, do your homework on the net before arriving. Wont get any info from the front desk which is strictly 9 to 5. . They lock up and leave promptly at 5 pm.The visitors center in Lake Lure is volunteer operated, and we never found it open. Free internet... More

Beautiful...Beautiful fall colors in every direction. Unit was VERY nice...absolutely no complaints. Street names..so alike....numbering without logic made finding unit a bit crazy..but we did it!! Hike in complex was terrific also. I would return in a heartbeat.

This rental serves its purpose in that it has running water, a refrigerator, stove, and you can sleep here. I read multiple reviews that complained about the units being out of date and they definitely are.(1) Bring your own kitchen utensils and cookware. They're all incredibly cheap and cutting up and preparing food for 6 people with a knife as... More

The resort is in a great area being close to many attractions. Ashville (Biltmore Estates, Blue Ridge Parkway, and many others) Was also able to visit family and friends in Charlotte about 2 hours away. Easy drive. The unit that we stayed in was a nice unit with a lot of space to relax. The only thing about the unit... More

Ok, so here's the deal. Reading all the negative reviews, I was absolutely scared as heck to stay here with my family. I've been checking the reviews daily for updates for the past 6 months and have written down all the unit numbers from all the good reviews, to see if I'd be able to make a specific unit number... We were happy with how remote and secluded our condo was. There were only 4 units in our cul de sac, and with the leaves on the trees, we could not see the next group of buildings. 3 floors, full kitchen, jacuzzi tub, wifi, washer & drier, and patio looking into forest. It is very quiet at night (other than... More
