We stayed at the lodge short time ago. The place had men on the roof banging all day. The lodge is old and not maintained. They did away with the wonderful names of the rooms and are now just numbers. Was told the head of Tryon Equestrian Center hospitality made the change. The pictures and information on their website are...

Do not stay at Lure Lodge they have renovations going on it is truly a nightmare look at pics. Loud jackhammer. Power washers. Ladders, parking blocked off. Understaffed in restaurant but good food. Working on roof. Widows are nasty. Seriously needs the renovation. Hot tub jets do not work. Pool was like ice water. Floors look like never cleaned. Only...

I would go back again! The rooms are wonderful here with big beds and tubs! The view from the tub was amazing. The grounds are nice too. There is so much more they could be doing with this spot. I mean they have a beautiful outdoor deck area but there is no bar or food out there. They need to...

My experience at The Lodge on Lake Lure came by way of being a firefighter on deployment to assist with containing the fire at Party Rock. A large group of us was welcomed to stay a handful of nights in a generous show of kindness so we may still feel the comforts of home. While not all of us were...

My husband and I had the privilege of staying at the lodge for a long weekend recently and were delighted. The Lodge is beautiful and the setting ideal, right on the lake. My husband took out a canoe and had a great time. Happy hour with a glass of wine and appetizers were lovely at the end of the afternoon...

My husband and I stayed at the Lodge on Lake Lure in North Carolina on November 1-6, 2016. Our room was On Golden Pond and had an exquisite view of the lake! It's charming, comfortable furnishings lent itself to a very relaxing stay. From its spacious sitting room, to its claw footed bathtub and private balcony, made our leaf peeping...

My wife and I went to The Lodge for dinner with friends. To start the drink selection was very limited. My wife and I both had a grilled ceasar salad, which was just OK. The waitress recommended the pork chop so I ordered that. It was tough and dry. The mashed potatoes were very good. My wife had the shrimp...

This was our first stay at The Lodge and it won't be our last. The office staff was friendly, efficient, and helpful. Our room was large enough with a huge bathroom. The view from our private deck was fantastic. It was quiet, relaxing, and everything we could want for a special anniversary stay

My husband and I stayed at the Lodge for our anniversary. We booked a room that included dinner on Saturday night. The Lodge is beautiful, our room opened out to a patio area overlooking the lake. The lodge is right on Lake Lure (location of filming the movie Dirty Dancing). The area is very scenic and we enjoyed driving around,...

My wife and I stayed here for the weekend, end of October. You can make reservations online but each room is different so you would want to call if you have a particular room in mind. We stayed in the Hole-In-One room. It is not on the lake side but has a small deck with French doors that you can...
