The rooms are musty. The carpets are dirty. The entire facility needs updating. Poor breakfast selection. No elevator so you have to carry your bags possibly up 2 to 3 flights of stairs. Cob webs in exterior windows that were left open Rusting beams and chipped concrete in the extetior.. Don't waste your money

This was the worst stay and room ever. From start to finish. Terrible. From beginning to end this was the worst stay ever. I can’t imagine anybody enjoying a stay at this room. Wouldn’t put my worst enemy up here. Stay away!

The Days in Mariner is a rather interesting hotel. My wife and I stayed in what appeared to be the original building. By “rather interesting” I mean the difference between inside and out. Let me start with the “bad”. The exterior of the building stayed in was terrible. It was VERY dirty, broken down, not cared for, and had debris and trash all around. The debris and trash were never touched during the 3 days there. The building's organization and lack of an elevator truly gives meaning to “there is no good way to get there from here”. To get to the top levels you must go up a central set of stairs, then walk to the far end of the building, go upstairs and then walk back to your room. It’s a very convoluted route. The other issue I had was when I book oceanfront rooms and pay the premium for such, I expect actual oceanfront. Part of my disappointment is on my responsibility as I assumed and should not have, that the oceanfront room would have a balcony or at least some chairs to sit outside and that it would be right in front of the ocean. In that respect given what I paid I feel cheated. At night I got a great view of a VERY bright parking lot light and a parking lot. Not what I wanted for the several hundred-dollar charge. On to the good things about the hotel….. The front desk staff is very nice, friendly, and professional. The lobby appeared very clean and organized. The interior of the room was in stark contrast to the exterior. The room was one of the cleanest hotel rooms in this class of hotel I have ever had. Everything was spotless, organized, and welcoming. The furniture and bed were comfortable and were in great condition with no stains or marks. If I were basing this review on the exterior, it would get a 1 star. If I were basing on the customer service and the interior, I would give it a 4 star. I will go with 3 stars. It was a true debate to not give it only 2. Would I stay here again? NO. The room may be nice but the misrepresented ocean view for my 50th birthday trip was a true disappointment.

The office is across the street from the suite (#403) where we stayed. The bedroom, kitchenette and bathroom were great! Bring your own dishes and flatware. Refrig and microwave. There is a sink with a large counter in the bedroom as well as in the bathroom, which I really liked. Comfortable king bed. Close to restaurants and grocery stores. Would stay here again, and would recommend it.

Where do I start? 1st, my room was not ready by 4pm check in. 2nd, the room was very small. Not a great view of the ocean whatsoever. No elevators at hotel. Had to carry my luggage up the one and only flight of stairs they had and of course it was on the other side where my room was. 3rd, my bed was hard as a brick and totally unstable. The pillows were super soft with not much support then finally the a/c in my room went out. I last 6 hours in this place before I packed up and left 3 days early. I will never go back to this place and I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.
