My wife and I spent four nights in the Garden Room last week and had a wonderful experience. We've stayed in many B&B's, but never one as nice and modern as this one. Upon our arrival, Mae suggested the Collington Cafe for dinner. It was superb. Each night Mae had a little treat waiting for us when we returned. The...

Our 4-day visit couldn't have been better! Mae and Bob are warm, gracious, and eager to make your stay the best it can be. We stayed in the Boat Room, with boat decor, large dresser, refrigerator, large bathroom, and screened-in porch where Taylor served us breakfast every morning. All rooms have the same amenities, so select yours depending on whether...

My husband and I went the OBX to celebrate our third wedding anniversary. We read great reviews about the Colington Creek Inn, and decided to give it a try. We wanted a place that was charming and comfortable, had a friendly host, and served delicious breakfast-- and we definitely got all of the above! It is a beautiful home right...

Fantastic!!!! We visited on our honeymoon and had a perfect taste of southern hospitality. We felt like family members rather than guests at a B&B. Bob and Mae were both absolutely wonderful and we couldn't have felt more comfortable on our honeymoon. Please make sure do yourself a favor and put this place on your next "To Visit" list, you...

This is a wonderful place to stay! I stayed for the Flying Pirate Half Marathon, and was met by great owners who treated me as part of their family. Not only did they go out of their way to help out in any way, I left a pair of running gloves there(unbeknownst to me), and they mailed them to me!...

Wonderful B&B with great views and super clean and homey accommodation. We felt like we were at home and felt really relaxed. Breakfasts were yummy, but beware it is not the healthiest of fare, but super yummy sweet potato pancakes, quiche, and fresh toast. I highly recommend it.

My husband and I just spent a few days here and I wanted to be sure that other people learned more about this inn. Bob and Mae built it to be a B&B; they didn't convert a house. So you have big rooms and bathrooms and there are private spaces to watch the water and read or just have a...

This was my 1st experience at a bed and breakfast and I was so impressed. We arrived a little later in the day but Mae was there to greet us at the door! She gave us a tour of the inn and then offered a cheese and wine tray. The room was immaculate and the bed was so comfy. The...

The Inn is beautiful, peaceful and welcoming. The staff could not have been nicer - catering our every need. Breakfast was delicious and different every morning. The rooms were well appointed, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The porches were an added feature that made my weekend. Being able to sit on the porch in the early morning, cup of coffee in...

in a beautiful setting. Really a get-away - wifi nearly nonexistent. :-) we didn't use the pool, but it was surely in a lovely location. Beds comfortable, but local fishermen sure get up early. We had an unfortunate mishap, spilling wine on the couch and Mae couldn't have been more gracious.
