I brought my son to the Outer Banks for the second time (first time Thanksgiving weekend 2015) so we could visit the Fort Raleigh National Historic Site for the first time, and make another visit to the Wright Bros. Monument. As before, our experience here was very nice; spacious accommodations, with well-equipped full kitchen for preparing our meals. Soap provided,...

Wat a wonderful time at an always grate retreat! Clean rooms, well supplied & had a late check in that was still taken care of. Very nice beach access with around 4 points of access. We come here atleast once a year & are always very happy!

Off season shouldn't mean off-kilter. This place doesn't have W/Ds in their units...so being on the beach means you constantly have to be at the laundromat. Oh, kind of them to have them on the property, but they aren't free to guests. Towels (including pool) are only exchanged once, on Tuesdays, regardless of when you check-in. And, you can't dry...

It is important to know that we stayed during the "off season." Yes there was a lot of construction going on, but we understood and our rental rates reflected this. On a positive side, the constuction we saw was adding elevators to the building without! This had been a concern of mine from reading other reviews. We were in 3C...

My wife and I, plus some friends, spent six days at this resort and were more than satisfied with the facility. While the property is on the beach, we were located one row of buildings back. Given the time of year we were there, this was no big deal for us. The unit we rented was clean, comfortable, and well...

The resort has three different sections. Friday check in is across the street from the ocean, Saturday check in is by the ocean and in standard appearing rooms (we didn't stay in one) and Sunday is also on the side of the ocean but in octagon rooms. We checked in on Sunday in October and were put in a building...

Bugs in our room... It is the South so we cut some slack.... We did not have a front beach unit and could not hear the waves with the windows shut. Massive Construction going on on both sides of the resort. MISERABLE NOISE. Swapped with Rci and only owners have the good units. Place was clean. Stairs are punishing on...

We stayed in 17B2, which is located on the back side of the Outer Banks Beach Club II, and is across the street from the ocean. This condo faces the tennis court and parking lot. In the distance, you can also see Hwy. 12. Although we were on the first floor, we still had to climb a flight of stairs...

I was surprised at how clean and convenient to everything for this location. Lot's of buildings and good view if you get on the ocean front. However, a note, you are not guaranteed to get an ocean view even if you book an ocean view unit. We were on the third floor and NO elevators working due to the recent...

This is a pretty big set of time-share buildings that have some of the best views in town! There are a limited number of units that you can rent at a pretty reasonable cost (can't rent until the yearly maintenance fees are paid). There are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday weeks available in 1, 2, and 3 bedrooms. As expected the...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
We are a Time Share Resort that is family oriented. Friday check in's are across the street from the ocean with elevator access available in early 2014. These are two bedroom units. Saturday and Sunday check in's are oceanside and oceanfront with elevator access. One and three bedroom units on the oceanfront have elevators. Oceanside do not. There are two outdoor pools with hot tubs and one heated indoor pool with hot tub. We have shuffle board and tennis courts. Free wifi in the clubhouse and a free computer if needed. We offer free day passes to the local YMCA only two miles away. Plenty of activities daily for adults and children. We have beautiful beaches with spectacular views. Great local attractions very close to the resort. We have wheel chair access on our beach boardwalks with a large gazebo and viewing decks. We have 24 hour security and offer help with luggage especially for units without elevators via our luggage lifts. ... more   less
