My husband and I had a quick romantic getaway ... while the grandparents kept the kids. We were there on a quiet weeknight. The innkeeper was lovely. The food was delicious. We loved their Southern Hospitality. The inn itself is just beautiful, cozy, and clean. I will send friends to stay here.

We decided to turn our business trip into a weekend retreat prior to the work week. A great decision! We couldn’t have been happier! Our room was quite comfortable, and the inn was beautiful. The innkeepers, Chaz and his wife, were such wonderful hosts. He was very helpful in recommending local restaurants, and the best places to furniture shop. Breakfast... More

My only experience with this Bed & Breakfast was in the attempt to make a reservation. Their website is great. Both times I called they answered the phone, didn't have to receive a call back (not a bad thing having to leave a message, just saying they were available) The innkeeper, Chaz, asked me the appropriate questions in taking the... While planning our trip to Hickory to see some friends we decided to make it a more romantic getaway and choose to go with a bed and breakfast, and what a wonderful choice we made in The Inn at Hickory. Chaz was a wonderful host to the inn, and saw to all of our needs. Since it snowed on the... More

The Inn at Hickory (464 7th street), has the greatest service and innkeepers we have come across in a long time. That is saying A LOT since we really like B&B's! The House is beautiful and very tastefully decorated (mix of new and antique), not overcrowded. The rooms were large, CLEAN and very nice, with excellent linens, mattress, pillows, toiletries,... “Stayed in the Thomasville room.”

“I think all the rooms will be quiet--the house is in the middle of a large lot in a quiet residential neighborhood. I can imagine that the second floor would be warmer if the weather was hot, but the ceiling fans and AC should be able to handle it.”

“The "Thomasville" room is where we stayed. It is the only room on the ground floor. Very nice.”

“We chose the Henredon with the bath en suite - we read and used our computer sitting on the bed. There was a hard-back chair as well However, we would probably choose the Baker next time (with the bath across the hall) for more room and sitting options.”
