EXCELLENT food at the Lantern Restaurant. Prompt staff and overall great experience. I'm looking forward to hosting business events for professionals there in 2018. Terrific find with a walk-able location to all of Hendersonville's downtown amenities.

We spent May 19-21 at this Inn, and we loved it. Nice albeit a little small rooms, wonderful staff and owners, and a gorgeous front porch with lots of rockers for relaxing. The owners also put out a nice array of cheese and wine plus homemade delicious brownies at 4:30 each day. This charming place also houses The Lantern Restaurant...

We stayed in the Charleston Inn in Hendersonville, North Carolina and found it to be nicely restored and comfortable with a friendly staff and yummy breakfast. Large rocking chairs on the front porch are nice for sipping wine and relaxing at happy hour. Their Lantern Restaurant has a well-equipped bar and offers dinners inside or outside on a patio. We...

A charming old inn, with all the character you'd expect in a historic building. The staff made us feel welcome and right at home. Our room (214) was quiet, clean and comfortable, decorated with vintage and antique furnishings. I would have liked a little firmer mattress, but otherwise the room was good. Located a short distance from the downtown district,...

My wife and I had a romantic getaway to Hendersonville. The rooms are comfortable, although not especially pretty. The hospitality makes up for the aesthetics of the rooms. Wine and cheese in the evenings while sitting under warm blankets in rocking chairs was great, and we met lots of really nice people. We walked all over down town, and came...

This was our first stay at this charming inn and we were most pleased with the inn, the staff, and the amenities. Our comfortable king-bedded room, #215, had a spacious updated bathroom with tub and shower, large closet, single sink vanity, dressing table, and plenty of lights. In addition to the sleeping area and bathroom, there was another wood paneled...

Great location (just a minute walk to Main Street). Super friendly staff who welcomed us and shared in great conversation (met Edgar on this visit)! And the breakfast prepared each morning by Kasey was AMAZING! ❤️We will definitely be back soon!

Beautiful, historical and convenient location. We were welcomed with a social time of wine and cheese. Rooms were comfortable. Staff was friendly, making us feel welcome. They made special accommodations for our breakfast since we had to leave early. It was delicious. We could walk to the downtown area.

Awesome place to get away. Perfect for Biltmore stays; not too close to Asheville traffic but yet just a short ride. Also, a great location for many other Western NC activities. The Inn? Charming, comfortable and meets ALL your needs. Breakfast was super good and better than most restaurants. The staff made you feel like you lived there and would...

This less than stellar review is mostly my fault. I didn't pay attention to the description of the facility. I was looking for price, internet and convenience. This is more like a B&B which is not my cup of tea. It's very charming but I like modern conveniences. I like the front desk available all night. I like ice available...

I am not sure why you would write us a bad review when you clearly state your choice for staying with us is your fault. We are totally different from a chain hotel. Our house was built in 1880 and still maintains its original charm. We have the stream radiators for heat, the original windows, and all the quirks that...
