Nice, a bit off the beaten path, decent breakfast. Quiet area. Not upscale, its a homey type place with an abundance of nick nacks. Shower is not much on water pressure but its an old house so it’s understandable . Bed is fairly comfortable. Would...More
Lovely room with a cozy king size bed and a ton of pillows for reading, sleeping and relaxing! We enjoyed a morning of making homemade bread and a delicious fresh tomato brushetta with local farmed ingredients, YUM! The inn is quiet and the staff are...More
The service from start to finish was impeccable. When we first arrived we were greeted by Kim who showed us around to make us feel comfortable and told us what time for coffee and breakfast in the morning and then to our room. The room...More
We stayed 2 nights in the Nature & Earth Room and participated in the cooking class with Chef Marti where we made "from-scratch" pizza. For those thinking "what's the big deal about making pizza", the techniques, tips and Chef Marti's insight and knowledge of food...More
The wealth of knowledge of the owner and collection of items all around make this stay worthwhile. The building, grounds and non-traditional breakfast items are just the tip of the benefits. You could spend days learning from Marti about his vast experiences and worldly knowledge.

I would expect nothing less from Chef Marti. HE's a gracious and engaging host who shows great care and concern for his guests and for the reputation of his inn. It's unfortunate that there are a very few reviewers that seem bent on being overly critical. I'm thankful for the great majority of reviewers that found this B&B to be exactly what it is, a charming, well-run place to stay that also manages to provide a tremendous value for the money and time spent. We are seasoned travelers and capable of recognizing the good guys form the marginal ones. Chef Marti and his staff are not only good guys, they're GREAT!
