We spent four days here. We were lucky to get a spot right on the water which was fabulous! The grounds were well taken care of and the pool was refreshing. The laundry mat was subpar. One of the shower buildings was ok the other needs total renovation. This is a mecca for wind surfing, paddle boarding, and kayaking. The...

my family of five and I stayed once again for a week at frisco woods the first week of July. this campground is always dependably clean and professional. everything works, the pool is clean, the showers are clean and hot, and the camp store has everything! my family tent camps and always books the waterfront sites. A good, no frills camping experience. Stayed 3 days in a basic tent site, no electric hookup. On the positive side our sons loved the pool, the beach and the shop. The tent site was flat but had no shade so was very hot in the day. It was quite pricy for what we got. Overall we would go back.

In early May, the temps aren't yet up to desirable beach averages, but the sunsets are amazing. We stayed on site C20, its the outer most point. The wind blew so hard, the sound was filled with kite boarders from all over the world, I just wish the temps had reached 72. During our three day stay, the water line...

Arrived on April 20, 2016 and was given site #S26. Owner was working on putting sod down and we got to hear his backhoe the entire time from April 20 to April 27th. Originally made the reservation on April 5th and they charged our credit card for a 2 day deposit. I had to cancel our original reservation because our...

We've stayed here twice and enjoyed it both times. No frills and very basic. Private beach area, small cabins, spaces available for RVs, pop-ups, and tents. Onsite pool and newly renovated bathrooms with showers. Basic food items and camping supplies are available for purchase but you'll pay a fortune!

My husband and I stayed at this campground a few times prior to our most recent trip with no problems at all. We rented one of the cabins and for the most part, weren't disappointed. It's a bare minimum of what you would need: has electricity, air conditioning and a cozy feel. The only downside would be the uncomfortable plastic...

This is our second stay here and the grounds are just as nice as I remember from the first trip. My only complaint is the mesquitos but those can't be helped much. Bathroom facilities look maintained and well kept. Would stay here again.

We love it there. Our family comes every spring. The grounds are kept well but still maintain that beach woods outdoor feel. Reminds us of a secluded caribbean beach. Bathhouses are worn but clean. Staff is so very nice. Great location with 4x4 beach drive out very close by. Abundant wildlife, easy access for boating, kyak, SUP, or any water...

We stay in the cabins at Frisco Woods every year prior to our rental house being available. We love the ease of staying in the cabins. Even though here are no amenities to them other than a bed and air conditioning. They do have a pool and very clean bath house. There is is also access to the sound for...
