My wife , daughter and I stayed at the Foreman House for two nights recently with the most gracious of hosts Mel and Andy. We immediately felt at home here and were treated like family. This is a very comfortable bed and breakfast with large and comfortable bedrooms, each with its own large bathroom and thermostat. Each room in the...

We had the opportunity to stay at the Foreman House Bed and Breakfast for three wonderful days in the latter part of January 2017. It is probably the best experience I have ever had in any bed and breakfast that I have stayed at and I have stayed at quite a few. The owners Mel and Andy treated us just...

This B&B was awesome. I can't wait to go back since we were here only one night. When we arrived after a long travel day, we were greeted with a cheese platter and wine. The owners, Mel and Andy, were very personable and great hosts. They directed us to some very nice restaurants in Elizabeth City which were in the...

Mel and Andy are amazing hosts. The house is very large with lovely rooms decorated in period furniture. In the evening they serve wine and cocktails along with a delicious assortment of cheeses. Words can't describe breakfast -- it's simply phenomenal! Foreman House is by far THE place to stay when in Elizabeth City.

We stayed a night with our two children, ages 10 and 12, a few days ago. The house is located in a neat neighborhood in Elizabeth City with lots of cool old southern houses. The house is beautiful, with spacious rooms, gorgeous and varied artwork (including some painted by one of the hosts, Andy). Our hosts, Mel and Andy, were...
