As someone who stays in boring, sterile hotels for work constantly, the blooming garden inn was a real treat. Its a gorgeous, bright, colorful, magical old house- meticulously cared for that feels like some mix between a victorian museum, family's house, and b and b. Dolly waited up late for me and had snacks ready when I arrived. Frank made...

I had a wonderful stay at the Blooming Garden. The owners really go above and beyond to be helpful. Frank picked me up from the train station and gave me a little tour of Durham. He and his wife Dolly were very sweet to me the entire trip and made me feel right at home, which was great for me...

Immaculate Victorian grounds and home. Hosts are sweethearts and tend to every need of the guests. Downtown location very convenient to all that Durham offers. Front porch is perfect. Every inch of the home is decorated from hosts' antiquing trips and life moments.

I stayed at the Inn with my friend for a conference. Frank (the host) was extremely flexible with our packed schedule and made sure we had a nice breakfast every morning before going to the conference! He even took us on a tour of the city on the first day, and of Duke Garden on the last day. He was...

Staying with Frank and Dolly is like being home. We were here for a conference. They provided nutritious breakfast and even offered us tours to the Duke campus and the Duke Garden. They also shared amazing stories of their historical home and their life journey. It has got great location, closer to downtown. I recommended anyone coming to Durham to...

I just spent three nights at the Blooming Garden Inn and found it a wonderful oasis that swept me up in its charms and character. A restored Queen Anne home built near the end of the 19th century, the Blooming Garden Inn features a number of small, charismatic rooms on the first floor, as well as a few relatively spacious...

Owners, Frank and Dolly, offer so much more than other B&B's. It's a lovely place to stay for a get-a-way of any sorts. The perfect place for my solo 2-night business trip to Durham. Delicious food, wonderful conversation, and comfortable beds. Highly recommend for Durham guests or residents.

I stayed here while attending a conference in downtown Durham. It was a very pleasant alternative to the usual conference hotel. The owners are very nice and accommodating. They even drove me to the conference center one morning when it was raining! The food was also excellent. The owners take a lot of pride in their establishment.

We needed a central location between Virginia and South Carolina to celebrate 2016 New Years with some old friends. They had the downstairs room and we stayed in the upstairs Moroccan room. Blooming Garden was lovely in every way - Frank made us feel at home. Breakfast was delicious and included fresh squeezed juice, and fresh fruit. Beds were comfortable...

I would have never guessed such an enchanting home would be tucked away in Durham. We stayed with Frank and Dolly to catch the symphony, however were extremely pleased with the entire experience. The home has wonderful history. The grounds are pleasurable and well-kept. There are so many treasures to be found her, however, our favorite would most certainly be...
