This is our third visit to The King's Daughter. Previously, we stayed for a wedding and a graduation. This time, we just needed to get away and relax. As others have said, the hospitality, room accommodations (Moss Room - decor, feather bed, linens, etc), food (great breakfast with outstanding granola that you can purchase to take home), wine, and convenience (proximity...

My daughter and I stayed 2 nights in the "Watts" room and it was perfect. The staff was extremely friendly, the complimentary breakfast was outstanding, and the ambiance of the Inn was perfect. The architcture is gorgeous and the location is very convenient to downtown Durham and Duke University. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Let's start with the bad, and get this out of the way. Here goes,........................okay, now let's go to the good.....everything. What a great stay! Employees were friendly and helpful. Last night, I wanted a bowl of cereal (they had individual boxes of cereal and bowls near the coffee), and I asked the lady at the front desk, and she said...

All the other reviews may focus on the subtle, yet sublime pleasantries that The King's Daughters Inn has to offer such as chocolates, excellent breakfast, and other charming touches. I want to talk plumbing. This B&B had already earned my excellent rating as soon as I settled in and had my chocolate. The surprise came when I decided to take...

I have always been treated like family when I stay here. Definitely my number one choice. I would love to see some sort of a frequent traveler program so that I could justify staying here every time. I do choose a hotel from time to time as I visit the area frequently and can't always pay the higher cost (even...

I visited this property and stayed two nights in order to meet family members who were staying with friends in the area. The Inn was charming, accommodating and the public living room made a wonderful place to gather a few of us and for me to meet my new great-grandson. Breakfast was relaxed, tasty and offered choices. The entire Inn...

Rooms are very comfortable and provide a touch of old world charm. Best breakfast you could ask for. Both superb hot and cold choices. The homemade granola is the best. Snacks and drinks also available at reception.

Thank you for taking the time to write this review, David! We certainly appreciate it! We love breakfast boasts- as it is an incredibly important factor to The King's Daughters. We take the start to a day seriously! Whatever we don't make in house, we do our best to source responsibly. (Our bacon comes from Cliff's Meat Market in Carrboro-...
