We stayed 2 nights 4/19 and 4/20 in the Overlook Suite. Amazing accommodations. didn't spend much time on the grounds because of our visits to The Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Enjoyed whirlpool tub and fireplace for a relaxing evening after a full day in the park. Our first visit to this part of the country but if we ever...

Tucked back in the mountains the Chalet sits nestled in a lovely, peaceful spot. The grounds are well maintained by the inn keepers and it's true....you are greeted by Hanneke as you pull-up in the drive (even in the rain). Very clean accommodations and oh so quiet. Was a short drive to Casino, about 20 minutes. Glad we decided to...

Enjoyed our stay. Food was well thought out and planned. European style breakfast. Honaka and George could not do enough for us! First class. Liked it so much we went back the following year. My wife has a medical issue and once she is back to par we plan on going back to The Chalet Inn.

We have had a most wonderful experience during our time of visit at The Chalet Inn. Hosts Hanneke & George are a delight and go to the extreme to cater and care for their customers. The facilities are excellent and tucked away in a quiet little valley in Western North Carolina. Rooms are very clean and comfortable and the breakfasts...

The innkeepers are wonderful people. They are very kind and have a beautiful property. We have been to B&B's before and always look forward to the beautiful locations, comfortable beds and great breakfasts. This location is beautiful. However, beware of breakfast. Breakfast was supposed to be a combination of European and American tastes. However, we found it better to go...

We have spent one night at The Chalet Inn back in May 2015 and absolutely loved it! The charming look and feel of the property, the fabulous secluded location and mountain views made it very memorable, while the warm welcome and friendliness of its owners made us want to come back again.

My wife and I just spent four days at The Chalet Inn and loved it! We stayed in the Romantic Hideaway which is part of the Suites property. Very clean and comfortable room. After driving up the STEEP entrance road and parking in front of the Inn, Hanneke immediately met us as we walked up to the door. She was...

I booked the Chalet Inn because the pictures and description reminded me of the wonderful family-owned chalets that I have stayed at in Switzerland and Austria. (My ancestors emigrated to the US from Switzerland in 1854, and I have led several family trips to Switzerland.) The Chalet Inn was exactly as described. George and Hanneke have created a marvelous alpine...

My wife and I spent 2 nights here this week, her birthday week. I first found The Chalet on the internet about a year ago and selected it because of its awesome Trip Advisor reviews. Let me offer another one.... We LOVED it!! Despite temperatures in the low 90s (very, very warm for Dillsboro), we were very cool in the...

Rodney, thank you for choosing us to celebrate Michelle’s Birthday. We know that when you are on vacation you want a break from the daily routine. Knowing that having to get up and get dressed before the Dining Room closes might not be the start of a relaxing day for everyone on a getaway . . . nor is paying...

Very welcoming and attentive hosts and staff (who also know when to leave their guests in peace). Cosy room with overbuilt balcony, complete with rocking chairs. Varied breakfast from 7-9am. The garden shed turned out to be a lovely honesty-bar type convenience store, with products such as good German wines and charcuterie, cheese and biscuits. Great for when you don't...

We enjoyed hosting you and Lothar and thank you for your review and the wonderful picture taken from your Balcony. Glad you enjoyed the selection of items in The Chalet Stube, our convenience store. Like you said: Great for when you don't want to get in the car again to have dinner; especially appreciated by guests arriving for a getaway...
