The hostess and host are so sweet and accommodating. Right across from Davidson College and almost on Main Street. Excellent location for strolling down Main Street, and through the college. (Which is historically amazing) breakfast served continental style in the lobby. 8-10am. Nice variety for all types of eaters. Afternoon Lemonade, hot tea, cookies at 3pm. Room 34 was very...

I chose to stay over at the Davidson Village Inn for the middle weekend of a long business trip. Being over from the UK, I wanted somewhere that was specifically not a chain hotel and not in a big city like nearby Charlotte. Davidson was a delightful, small town and was exactly what I wanted. Upon arrival, I was greeted...

My family and I stayed at the inn the day before a college visit to Davidson. It was lovely! The staff, especially Mary who gave us a fantastic recommendation for the Italian place next door, were wonderfully hospitable. The room was just --- perfect. A definite 'RECOMMEND'.

The Lake Norman area has many chain hotels along the interstate where your expectations will be met. Or for the same price, you can stay at the Davidson Village Inn, where your expectations will be surpassed. I had a great visit at the Inn when I was in town for business recently, and it provided a pleasant and memorable introduction...

Over the past four years my wife and I have been staying at the Davidson Village Inn while visiting our granddaughter at Davidson College. We cannot say enough kind words for the Inn and its staff. We stayed for a wedding so I have no idea what the rates are, but the Inn was beautiful. We had adjoining rooms which were spacious, clean, and well decorated. The staff was friendly, the breakfasts good, but my favorite part was the afternoon tea with cookies. Very relaxing, peaceful, and quiet.

We had a great stay at the Davidson Village Inn while visiting for a family wedding. The location is perfect, right next to the university and near several great little shops. We were there on the weekend and there's a nice farmer's market just down the block. The hotel is immaculately clean and the rooms were very large with comfortable...

We stayed here in March 2014. The location is perfect for visiting Davidson College. The price was a little higher than the hotels out on the interstate, but the location made up for this because we could walk everywhere. There was an adequate, but not spectacular, breakfast. Our room was large, clean, and comfortable, though the bathroom felt a little...

We stayed at the Village Inn in September 2013, and found the location to be perfect for visiting our student on campus. The price was a little higher than the hotels out on the interstate, but the location made up for this difference because we could walk everywhere. The room was good sized, clean and comfortable. Coffee & tea were...

Very good location, convenient for visiting Davidson University. The rooms were nice, the staff was friendly and helpful. It rained all through our visit and the hotel loaned us large umbrellas. The breakfast was decent. I definitely would stay here again.
