    The KOA has all the amenities you could want. May is great for couples or solo's, June through Aug great for families. Oct great for the Autumn change of the seasons. First went there in the mid 70's with our children and are still camping...More

    They have a drop box outside of the office and you can fill out your paper and then finish check in the next morning if you know what site you are going to, but calling ahead would not be a bad idea

    We do not recommend anyone under the age of seven tube on the river.

    What is there to do around there with children after the sun goes down early in November? Last winter we left before we stayed one night because there was nothing to do but I would like to go back and find things to do. I don't want to give up because I love Cherokee KOA.
