As we neared North Carolina, looking for an Interstate hotel, we decided, on a lark, to look up "B and B near Burnsville"...and on the iPhone, up popped The Buck House Inn ! Learning that a room was available, we made our way up the mountain, in the DARK, and soon discovered a perfectly WONDERFUL old house, all lit up,...

What a TREAT it was to have and get to know you both! Seredipitous indeed!! When you were traveling after the call for the reservation, Sam and I said to each other "Oh this is going to be fun(having someone from our home town)...surely we will know some of the same people." We didn't anticipate knowing THAT many!! Wish you...

Our hosts raised the bar on B&B's. Beautiful accommodations, gourmet breakfasts, gracious hosts. A perfect combination. Highly recommend. Sitting on the porch with a good glass of wine watching the humming birds and listening to the frogs is the perfect way to end the day.. Avid Reader

although we stayed only one night, this was a memorable visit. Debbie and Sam are wonderful hosts, and my husband and I were warmly welcomed into their home. We met two other lovely coupes and Sam made a wonderful bonfire with s'mores for fireside chatting. We had dinner on the mountain at the neighboring golf club as the Buck House...

This was our first visit to The Buck House Inn and without a doubt we would return! It really was the perfect getaway. We've been to many B&Bs before, and this had everything we look for in a B&B: very helpful and friendly hosts, a cozy and clean room, free snacks and drinks, a porch with many rockers to relax...

Our stay at The Buck House Inn was exceptional! The setting is ideal with beautiful gardens, along a creek with sheep to visit or a hammock to relax in after a day of hiking the nearby Appilation Trail. From the moment you arrive, with an official welcome from Josco and Angel, you feel like family. Debbie and Sam are perfect...

The inn keepers are some of our favorite people. Second visit to the Buck House. Stayed in the Creekside room listening to the water trickle by. Very relaxing.
