Sleep Inn is in a great location and is easy to find. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The sheets passed my wife’s comfort test and for the first time in a long time she didn’t find something that the cleaning staff missed. This is a no smoking property which was wonderful. Lastly, the staff was very friendly and helpful when we asked questions about local restaurants and attractions.

We stayed at the Sleep Inn in Bryson City for two nights in late July. Our first venture out since the beginning of the pandemic, we were very concerned with cleanliness and contact (or lack thereof). The lobby, hallways, and rooms were immaculate. Maid service was prompt and thorough. Check in/out was seamless and required no physical contact with staff. Hotel has been recently remodeled. Pool area was open for 10 guest maximum. We did not use the pool but looked at as we entered/exited building and never saw more than 4 guests there. Cable was adequate but wifi connection was slow and unstable. Room had microwave and ice cold refrigerator. Conveniently located to several fast foot options (walking distance) and downtown hub was only a mile or so away. Staff pleasant and helpful - we will return here again.

Needed a budget motel as close as possible to the Nantahala Outdoor Center, which is 12 miles down the road from here, and this place was more than adequate. It's a chain motel, and thus you get (1) good value and (2) not a lot of warmth or charm.
My room had a shower (almost claustrophobic small), AC, phone, radio-alarm, fridge, microwave, hair dryer, coffee maker, iron & board, and TV with over 100 channels. It was clean and well-maintained. Staff was professional and friendly. Free amenities include parking, wifi, outdoor pool, and PC & printer in the lobby. A hot continental breakfast was included. As is becoming more common, smoking is prohibited in all areas. No pets are permitted.
There is no elevator to the second floor, despite their claim, "Hotel accessible to individuals with disabilities."
There are several fast food restaurants, just a short drive away.
Word to the wise: if you are driving into Bryson City from U.S. Highway 74, be aware that the road into town is a bit steep & winding, and this hotel will appear suddenly on your left. Do not speed as you are coming down this road!
This area has innumerable delights for those who enjoy outdoor recreation, and this motel is a good value for those who want to experience these.

The rooms are small. Even for two people in a King bedroom, it was tight but clean. Good enough for two nights. Staff friendly but maskless. They do have this sort of sheild in front of check-in desk but I saw staff walking around lobby and common areas without masks on. In fact, they do not enforce mask wearing at this hotel in the lobbies or anywhere. We were, in fact, in the minority of folks who wore masks in common areas and that was off-putting. They also will clean your rooms daily as usual, which I actually liked. I don't know why all the other hotels I've stayed at since COVID-19 don't do that. We gotta take out our own trash, make our beds and constantly have to ask for towels, whereas, when they just clean the rooms like they usually do, it bypasses that. Either way, it was a pleasant stay here but beware of the lack of enforcement of wearing masks. They also do not have an elevator so you do have to lug your luggage up two flights of stairs to get to the second floor.

The Sleep Inn is the cleanest, nicest, and most relaxing hotel in Bryson City. Their standards of hygiene are flawless; they have a very nice and helpful staff who are always available to you; and they maintain a friendly and quiet family atmosphere which means anyone, alone or accompanied, can feel safe.
The management is excellent, and so is their entire reception and cleaning staff, without exception. Congratulations to them all.
Also, there is a full and excellent breakfast, with different options. I am gluten-allergic, but there was lots of non-gluten offerings that I could eat.

We were in town to drop off hikers on the Appalachian Trail at NOC. This is a good stay - modern facility, very quiet, clean, friendly staff. Rooms are a little small, but have a two person bathroom - sliding pocket door separates the shower and toilet from the sink, so two people can get ready at the same time. That's a plus! Very large shower. We visited during Covid - breakfast options were limited but could sit down and eat, whereas many other properties are grab and go only. We stayed two nights. Will stay again if in the area.

The hotel is very clean and Covid-19 ready. The BK area was open to sit and have individually wrapped foods such as toast, muffins and cereal and juices and coffee. I had a king room with TV and refrigerator. Had a walk in shower which was great since I use a cane. The room was small however and you would want to drive to the downtown area since this is on a hill outside of town. I would stay here again IF no other hotels were available in town.

Originally rented a room at Microtel which was boarded up upon our arrival...so this was our only option at 11:00pm.
The charged up $100 more than the standard room rate for a 2 queen room! Knowing we had no other choice due to the other hotel closure. I did complain and was told "well we charge according to what the market will bear" which means try and rob people with no other options! I was not the only one they did this too as several others were there for the same reason. Morning breakfast was a joke coffee machine broke, juice machine broken, not a hot complimentary breakfast as advertised or paid for cold stale pastries.

Our room was very clean as was the rest of the property. Property is two story but has no elevator. The front desk clerk was very kind and helpful with suggesting places to eat and we were not disappointed. Ice machine was working and although we only stayed one night there was no 8AM knock on door from housekeeping. King bed was comfortable for me, plenty of hot water with good pressure in the oval shaped shower that I have found in most all Sleep Inns. Property is at edge of town with Arby's, McDonalds, Bojangles and Subway within walking distance. Just a little further and you will be in the down town area with shops and more food.

Our room was a little small for four people, but we drove a long way to get away from the crowds in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Hot cereals and muffins are available for breakfast. The breakfast area staff is very conscientious about keeping the creamers stocked.
